Ducati has just unveiled the new Ducati Streetfighter V4, which is featured in the latest Ducati World Première episode.
Derived from the Panigale V4, the new Streetfighter V4 combines top-tier performance with improved comfort for road riding. This bike is lighter (189 kg), faster, and more sophisticated than ever, boasting a 214 hp engine and advanced electronics, making it ideal for both track and street use.
The Streetfighter V4 uses a stripped-down Panigale V4 design with a wide handlebar and biplane wings for enhanced stability at high speeds. Its engine, a Desmosedici Stradale V4, is based on Ducati’s MotoGP bike and has been fine-tuned for more power and smoother riding. The bike delivers 214 hp and can reach 226 hp with an Akrapovič exhaust.
The design emphasizes aggressive, sporty lines with a new full-LED headlight, a narrower 16-litre tank, and a lower passenger seat. The biplane wings create 17 kg of downforce at high speeds for greater control. The ergonomic setup is designed for better comfort, especially for taller riders, with a more adjustable handlebar and lower footpegs.
The chassis is inspired by the Panigale V4 and features lighter materials and more precise suspension. The Streetfighter V4 S has advanced Öhlins suspension for improved comfort and performance. It also includes new Brembo brake calipers for better heat management and a Race eCBS braking system for enhanced stability.
The bike is equipped with a range of electronic features, such as Ducati Traction Control, Wheelie Control, and Quick Shift 2.0, for maximum performance. The new 6.9-inch dashboard offers clear information for both road and track use, with customizable views for different riding modes.
That being said, the 2025 Streetfighter V4 will be available in V4 and V4 S versions starting March 2025. Both versions come in a single-seater setup, with a passenger kit available as an option.
Riders in Malaysia who are looking for a monstrous naked bike can look forward to the new Streetfighter as it is almost certain that it will be launched here next year.
