Cycle & Carriage Malaysia has opened a new Leapmotor showroom in Setia Alam, Shah Alam, marking its seventh outlet for the electric vehicle brand in Malaysia.
Opened on 21 October 2026 in partnership with Stellantis Malaysia, the new showroom aims to make Leapmotor’s electric vehicles more accessible to customers in Setia Alam, Shah Alam and surrounding areas.
The expansion comes as both companies continue to develop Leapmotor’s retail network in Malaysia, providing customers with more opportunities to explore electric mobility and understand how EV ownership fits into their daily lives.
According to Cycle & Carriage Malaysia CEO Adrian Short, the new outlet strengthens the company’s sales and aftersales presence while bringing the brand closer to potential customers.
Measuring approximately 3,570 sq ft, the Setia Alam showroom can display up to four Leapmotor models. It also features a dedicated customer lounge equipped with a media TV and other amenities, allowing visitors to explore the vehicles and discuss their requirements with the sales team.
Customers can also arrange test drives to experience the vehicles first-hand. Stellantis ASEAN managing director Isaac Yeo said the expansion would help make Leapmotor’s electric mobility solutions more accessible as EV adoption gains momentum in Malaysia.
He added that developing a wider retail network remains important in helping customers become more familiar with the brand’s technology and product range.
With the latest opening, Cycle & Carriage’s Leapmotor network covers several locations, including Setia Alam, Plaza 33 in Petaling Jaya, Pavilion Bukit Jalil and Paradigm Mall in Johor Bahru.
The company also operates three Leapmotor 3S centres in Glenmarie, Johor Bahru and George Town, providing sales, service and spare parts support.
The new Leapmotor Cycle & Carriage Setia Alam showroom is located at Unit No. 23-1, Setia Avenue, Jalan Setia Prima S U13/S, Setia Alam, 40170 Shah Alam, Selangor.
