KTM Malaysia has introduced four new flagship motorcycles covering the supersport and adventure-touring segments, with prices starting from RM113,000.
Brought in by official importer and distributor Eurotech Group (ETG), the new lineup comprises the KTM 990 RC R, KTM 1390 Super Adventure S, KTM 1390 Super Adventure R and KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo.
All four models come with a four-year unlimited-mileage warranty, included in their respective basic selling prices.

Here is how much each model costs in Malaysia:
- KTM 990 RC R: RM113,000
- KTM 1390 Super Adventure S: RM144,000
- KTM 1390 Super Adventure R: RM146,500
- KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo: RM153,000
The new range caters to different riding needs, from track-inspired road performance to long-distance touring and more demanding off-road adventures.
KTM 990 RC R: MotoGP-inspired supersport
The KTM 990 RC R is a road-legal supersport motorcycle drawing inspiration from KTM’s RC16 MotoGP racing machine.

It is powered by a 947 cc LC8c parallel-twin engine producing 127.84 PS and 103 Nm of torque. Its aerodynamic package includes integrated winglets developed through wind-tunnel testing, generating up to 14.4 kg of downforce at 252 km/h to improve front-end stability at high speeds.
Other highlights include fully adjustable WP APEX suspension, Brembo HyPure four-piston brake callipers and cornering ABS supported by a six-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU).
Riders also get four selectable riding modes — Street, Rain, Sport and Custom — alongside a large touchscreen TFT display.
KTM has extended the valve-clearance inspection interval to 30,000 km, compared with 15,000 km previously.
KTM 1390 Super Adventure S: Built for fast touring
The KTM 1390 Super Adventure S is designed for riders who prioritise long-distance road touring without giving up the ability to tackle occasional gravel routes.
Power comes from a 1,350 cc V-twin engine producing 173 PS and 145 Nm of torque. The larger engine displacement replaces the previous 1,301 cc unit.

Its WP Semi-Active Technology (SAT) suspension adjusts to changing riding conditions, while an improved windscreen offers an additional 15 mm of adjustment for better wind protection.
The motorcycle also features a new LED headlight with cornering lights and an 8.8-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen TFT display with offline map navigation and controls designed for use with riding gloves.
Valve-clearance inspection intervals have been extended to 60,000 km, up from 30,000 km.
KTM 1390 Super Adventure R: The off-road specialist
For riders who intend to venture further off the beaten track, the KTM 1390 Super Adventure R gets a more off-road-focused setup.
Its 1,350 cc V-twin produces 175 PS and 145 Nm, making it the most powerful model among the four new motorcycles based on the figures supplied.
Unlike the S variant’s semi-active suspension, the R uses WP XPLOR suspension designed to handle demanding terrain and uneven surfaces.

It also features a shorter off-road windscreen, a single-unit seat and tubeless wire-spoked wheels measuring 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear, paired with aggressive adventure-knobby tyres.
The combination is intended to support greater control and freedom of movement when riding off-road. Like the S, the R benefits from a 60,000 km valve-clearance inspection interval.
KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo: Adventure touring with an automatic option
Sitting at the top of the new range is the KTM 1390 Super Adventure S Evo, which combines the 173 PS, 145 Nm V-twin engine with a higher level of electronic assistance.
Its biggest talking point is the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), a first for a KTM motorcycle. The system automatically manages clutch operation during starting, stopping and gear changes, allowing riders to choose between manual and fully automatic shifting.
The S Evo also comes with WP Semi-Active Technology suspension, a fifth-generation Bosch front radar sensor and Adaptive Cruise Control as standard. These features are intended to reduce rider workload and improve comfort during longer journeys.

Like the other 1390 Super Adventure models, it features an updated windscreen and an 8.8-inch portrait-oriented TFT touchscreen, along with a 60,000 km valve-clearance inspection interval.
ETG Head of Marketing & Customer Experience Goi Seong Keng said the new flagship lineup reflects KTM’s focus on combining high performance, advanced technology and versatility for Malaysia’s varied riding conditions.
All four motorcycles are available through authorised KTM dealerships nationwide. The company says its authorised dealers have received specialised training and international certification from KTM Austria.
