BMW Motorrad Malaysia Now Offers 5-Year Coverage, Financing Rates From 2.99%

BMW Motorrad Malaysia is making premium motorcycle ownership more predictable, offering selected models with financing rates from 2.99% alongside service and extended warranty packages that provide up to five years of coverage.

Introduced through BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the enhanced offering allows customers to finance their motorcycle together with BMW Motorrad Service Inclusive (BMSI) and BMW Motorrad Warranty Extension (BMWE), with repayment periods of up to seven years.

The move gives buyers a way to plan their ownership costs upfront, while reducing the uncertainty associated with scheduled maintenance and unexpected repair expenses after the standard warranty expires.

Five years of servicing and warranty coverage

BMW Motorrad Service Inclusive covers scheduled maintenance for five years or 50,000km, whichever comes first. This includes genuine parts, labour and engine oil.

Meanwhile, BMW Motorrad Warranty Extension adds two years to the standard three-year warranty, bringing total warranty coverage to five years.

Customers can purchase either programme separately or combine both. Prices start at RM3,100 for Service Inclusive, RM1,000 for the Warranty Extension, or RM4,100 for the combined package. Actual pricing varies by motorcycle model, with the full price list available through BMW Motorrad Malaysia.

Lower financing rates when packages are included

Through BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, selected motorcycles financed with both service and warranty programmes qualify for rates ranging from 2.99% to 3.30%, compared with the stated standard financing rate of 4.60% without the programmes.

With the packages incorporated into the financing arrangement, customers can cover the motorcycle, scheduled servicing and extended warranty through a single monthly instalment. Terms and conditions apply.

BMW Group Malaysia Managing Director Raymond Tan said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting customers beyond the initial motorcycle purchase, with greater emphasis on care, convenience and confidence throughout ownership.

Coverage that follows the motorcycle

Another advantage is that both programmes remain attached to the motorcycle when ownership changes. This could help support resale appeal, as subsequent owners can continue to benefit from the remaining eligible coverage.

The programmes are also backed by BMW Motorrad and delivered through its authorised dealer network. Maintenance and repairs follow manufacturer-recommended standards and use BMW Motorrad Genuine Parts, giving owners greater consistency in how their motorcycles are maintained.

For riders considering a premium motorcycle, the overall cost of ownership can be just as important as performance, technology and brand appeal. By combining financing with scheduled maintenance and extended warranty coverage, BMW Motorrad Malaysia is positioning aftersales support as a key part of its ownership proposition, rather than something customers need to plan for separately.
