KTM Malaysia has officially marked its comeback in Malaysia with the launch of four new 390-series motorcycles spanning the adventure, dual-sport, and supermoto segments.

Headlining the launch are the new KTM 390 Adventure R, 390 Adventure X, 390 Enduro R, and 390 SMC R, joining the KTM 390 Duke as part of the brand’s next-generation lightweight lineup.

Here are the official prices in Malaysia:

  • KTM 390 Adventure R – RM33,300
  • KTM 390 Adventure X – RM29,300
  • KTM 390 Enduro R – RM27,300
  • KTM 390 SMC R – RM27,300
  • KTM 390 Duke – RM30,300 (arriving Q4 2026)

All prices are basic selling prices (BSP) and include a free Quickshifter+ package plus a four-year warranty.

Under the campaign theme “≠1 Two Worlds, Zero Excuses”, KTM says the new lineup is designed to blur the line between everyday road riding and off-road capability, giving riders more flexibility depending on how and where they ride.

Unlike previous KTM 390 models that leaned heavily toward street riding, this latest generation places a much bigger emphasis on dual-purpose usability, especially for Malaysian riders looking for lightweight machines that can handle city commutes, touring, gravel roads, and trail riding.

All four models are powered by KTM’s new 398.7 cc single-cylinder LC4c engine producing 45 PS and 39 Nm of torque, paired to a six-speed gearbox. KTM also claims lower ownership costs thanks to extended 10,000 km service intervals.

The KTM 390 Adventure R is positioned as the most hardcore off-road model in the lineup, featuring long-travel WP APEX suspension, cornering ABS, traction control, and dedicated Street, Off-Road, and Rain riding modes. It also gets a rally-inspired design and a 5-inch TFT display.

Meanwhile, the more road-focused KTM 390 Adventure X offers a lower 825 mm seat height, a 14-litre fuel tank, and more accessible ergonomics aimed at newer adventure riders and touring users.

For riders who prioritise dirt performance, the KTM 390 Enduro R brings serious off-road hardware into a road-legal package. Weighing just 159 kg dry, it features 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels, adjustable suspension, and off-road-focused ergonomics inspired by the larger KTM 690 Enduro R.

Then there’s the KTM 390 SMC R, which introduces KTM’s first-ever small-capacity supermoto model. Built for aggressive street and track riding, it comes with Supermoto ABS, sporty riding modes, and sharp handling characteristics aimed at riders who enjoy urban corner carving and high-speed agility.

KTM Malaysia also confirmed that updated colour options for the KTM 390 Duke will arrive locally in Q4 2026.

To support the launch, the brand will also kick off the Eurotech Road Tour, allowing the public to experience the new 390 lineup through nationwide showcases and test rides.

The tour will make stops at:

  • MyTOWN Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur (14–17 May)
  • Auto-City Penang (22–24 May)
  • KTCC Mall Terengganu (11–13 June)
  • Toppen Shopping Centre Johor (19–21 June)

With this launch, KTM appears to be repositioning itself more aggressively in Malaysia’s growing lightweight adventure and dual-purpose motorcycle segment — a space that has become increasingly popular among younger riders and weekend touring enthusiasts.
