Engine, service interval
Powering the Multistrada V4 is a new 1,158 cc V4 Granturismo engine that produces 170 hp at 10,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 125 Nm at 8,750 rpm.
The main highlight of this engine is that the oil only needs changing every 15,000 km, while the valve adjustment (if necessary) is set once every 60,000 km. No other production bike currently available on the market goes this far.

Dimensions of the Multistrada V4
In terms of dimensions, the Multistrada V4 is has a reduced wheelbase length of 1,567 mm, ground clearance of 220 mm, and a dry weight of 215 kg.
Compared to previous Multistrada models, the rider is now placed in an even more “dominant” position.
The central section of the bike is particularly narrow and allows an ideal riding position even when riding standing in off-road sections.
New ergonomics also provide solid support when the rider puts his/her feet on the ground to better manoeuvre the bike when stationary.
For this reason, seat height now comes with two-position adjustability at 840 mm and 860 mm (810 mm low seat and 875 mm high seat are also available as accessories).
This added value is crucial especially in low-speed manoeuvres, even when fully loaded, also because the all-new Multistrada V4 can load over 230 kg.
Noise, vibration, harshness
Ducati engineers have also improved the level of Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH). The result is the incorporation of an aerodynamic Perspex screen which can be adjusted with a single finger.
To further improve the riding experience, the Multistrada V4 S features an adjustable 6.5-inch TFT unit with a joystick has been added in the left switchgear to ensure easy navigation through the new and intuitive menu.
New features on the Multistrada V4
Other new features include the Ducati Connect system, which allows, via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, the “mirroring” function of the mobile phone app on the dashboard and control via the joystick.
Phone and music management are intuitive, while using the Sygic navigation app the rider can visualize the navigation system map directly on the dashboard.
Finally, a compartment has been designed in the upper section of the tank accessible via a small door, in which it is possible to store a smartphone and keep it charged via a USB port.
