New lineup caters to motorcycles and scooters, with formulations tailored for Malaysian riding conditions.

Valvoline Global Operations has introduced its new Valvoline Champ motorcycle engine oil range in Malaysia, expanding its lubricant offerings with formulations designed for the country’s tropical climate, congested traffic and demanding riding conditions.

Launched on 26 October 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, the new range caters to everyone from daily commuters to high-performance motorcycle enthusiasts and long-distance riders. The lineup covers both conventional four-stroke motorcycles and gearless scooters, with different formulations aimed at specific engine requirements and riding habits.

The new range focuses on engine protection, thermal resistance, cleaner internals and improved performance under demanding conditions. Leading the lineup are two flagship motorcycle oils certified to API SP and JASO MA2 standards.

The fully synthetic Valvoline Champ 4T Ultra Racing 10W-50 features Power Booster Technology and is developed for high-performance motorcycles and long-distance riding. It promises responsive acceleration, improved riding control and enhanced protection against high temperatures during demanding rides.

For riders who spend more time navigating urban traffic, the Champ 4T Extra 15W-50 uses XTRA Clean Technology to help prevent engine deposit build-up, improve throttle response and support engine longevity. It is available in convenient 1-litre packaging.

A wider range for different motorcycles

The standard four-stroke motorcycle range includes fully synthetic, synthetic blend and mineral-based options.

Alongside the Ultra Racing 10W-50, the fully synthetic Champ 4T Ultra Racing 10W-40 also incorporates Power Booster Technology, offering enhanced engine protection and thermal resistance for highway riding.

The synthetic blend Champ 4T Extra is available in 10W-40 and 15W-50 grades, with XTRA Clean Technology aimed at maintaining engine cleanliness and supporting fuel efficiency in stop-and-go traffic.

For daily commuters and older motorcycles, the Champ 4T Premium comes in 20W-40 and 20W-50 grades, while the Champ 4T is offered in 20W-40. Both are designed to provide dependable wear protection and temperature tolerance.

Dedicated oils for scooters

Valvoline has also introduced a dedicated scooter lineup, with formulations developed specifically for gearless scooters and certified to JASO MB standards.

At the top of the range is the fully synthetic Champ 4T Ultra Scooter 5W-40, which comes in a 0.8-litre pack. Equipped with Power Booster Technology, it is designed to deliver improved fuel efficiency, thermal protection and power delivery for newer-generation scooters.

The Champ 4T Extra Scooter is available in 10W-30 and 10W-40 grades. Using XTRA Clean Technology, it aims to maintain engine cleanliness while supporting smoother power delivery and fuel efficiency.

Leong Tak Chuan, Cluster Manager for Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei at Valvoline Global Operations, said the new range reflects the company’s commitment to providing lubrication technology suited to local riders, building on its 160-year engineering legacy.

The new Valvoline Champ motorcycle engine oil range is distributed in Malaysia by Vanli Group and is now available at authorised workshops, retailers and service centres nationwide.

As part of the launch, Vanli Group is also sponsoring 1,000 bottles of Valvoline engine oil for Lalamove driver partners, extending engine protection to Malaysia’s delivery community.
