Didi Group has officially introduced the new 2026 Triumph Tiger 900 GT Alpine Edition and Tiger 900 Desert Edition in Malaysia, bringing fresh styling, additional equipment, and improved value to Triumph’s middleweight adventure bike lineup.
Inspired by two very different riding environments, the new special editions are designed to offer distinct personalities for touring and off-road enthusiasts alike. Bookings are now open nationwide, with the Tiger 900 GT Alpine Edition priced from RM85,450, while the Tiger 900 Desert Edition starts from RM89,250, excluding registration and insurance.
Based on the road-focused Tiger 900 GT Pro, the new Alpine Edition is aimed at riders who prioritise long-distance touring comfort and refined on-road performance. It features a unique Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black paint scheme with Aegean Blue accents, giving it a more premium and adventurous appearance.
The Desert Edition meanwhile is derived from the Tiger 900 Rally Pro and is tailored for riders who spend more time venturing off the beaten path. It comes finished in Urban Grey and Sapphire Black with striking Baja Orange accents, highlighting its rugged off-road character.
Beyond the cosmetic upgrades, both special editions receive enhanced standard equipment. For the first time on a Triumph adventure motorcycle, an Akrapovič silencer is fitted as standard, offering a more premium exhaust setup straight from the factory.
The Tiger 900 GT Alpine Edition also gets engine protection bars, while the Desert Edition comes equipped with fuel tank protection bars for additional durability during off-road riding.
Triumph says the two special editions were developed to suit vastly different riding conditions, from tight mountain passes to open desert terrain, while still delivering the Tiger 900’s well-known balance of comfort, technology, and capability.
Riders looking for additional comfort can also opt for accessory heated seats or low seats depending on their needs.
The new Tiger 900 GT Alpine Edition and Tiger 900 Desert Edition are now available at authorised Triumph dealerships throughout Malaysia.
