Less than a year after entering the Malaysian market, iCAUR has secured a place among the country’s top three electric vehicle (EV) brands, while its V23 model emerged as Malaysia’s best-selling non-national EV in May 2026.
The brand also revealed that more than 3,000 iCAUR vehicles have now been registered nationwide, highlighting the rapid growth of its presence in an increasingly competitive EV market.
According to iCAUR Malaysia, the strong performance has been driven by growing demand for its distinctive “Boxy Retro Classic” design language, featured on models such as the iCAUR 03 and V23. The combination of rugged styling and modern EV technology has helped the brand stand out from a sea of conventional electric crossovers.

In conjunction with the milestone, iCAUR Malaysia has announced enhanced warranty coverage for all vehicles registered in 2026.
The upgraded package extends warranty protection for the power battery, drive unit and high-voltage components to 10 years or 200,000km, making it one of the most comprehensive EV warranty packages currently available in Malaysia. Vehicle warranty coverage remains at seven years, while existing protection benefits remain unchanged.
The enhanced coverage is aimed at giving owners greater peace of mind, particularly in areas such as battery durability, drive system reliability and long-term ownership costs.
“Malaysia’s overwhelming response to iCAUR has been clear: drivers are looking for EVs with character, capability and confidence built in,” said Francis Chin, Senior Director of iCAUR Malaysia.
Beyond sales growth, iCAUR is also expanding its retail and aftersales footprint across the country. Last month, the company opened its first boutique showroom at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, followed by the launch of its 15th full-fledged showroom in Seremban.

The brand currently operates 21 sales outlets nationwide and aims to increase that number to 30 by the end of 2026.
At the same time, iCAUR says it will continue expanding its service network through additional high-capacity service centres to support its growing customer base.
With over 3,000 vehicles already on Malaysian roads, a rapidly expanding dealership network and the V23 leading non-national EV sales in May, iCAUR appears to be building strong momentum as competition in the local EV market continues to intensify.
