Updated BMW XM Gets More Power, More Tech – From RM1.55m

BMW XM Label

BMW Malaysia has introduced an enhanced version of its flagship performance SUV, the BMW XM Label, now positioned as the sole variant in the XM line-up locally.

First launched in 2023 as BMW M’s first standalone electrified model, the XM Label returns with a series of updates covering design, driving dynamics, technology, and comfort—further reinforcing its status as the most extreme road-going model from BMW M GmbH.

At the core of the XM Label is BMW’s M Hybrid system, pairing a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 with an electric motor. Combined output stands at a formidable 748 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 3.8 seconds.

Despite its performance credentials, the plug-in hybrid system also delivers up to 83 km of pure electric driving range (WLTP), allowing for emissions-free commuting in urban settings.

Visually, the updated XM Label leans even further into its bold, extroverted identity. New BMW Individual Frozen paint finishes—including Frozen Tanzanite Blue, Frozen Marina Bay Blue, Frozen Black, and Frozen Brilliant White—expand personalisation options while accentuating the SUV’s muscular proportions.

The exterior is further enhanced by a redesigned Welcome Light Carpet with animated lighting effects, as well as imposing 23-inch black M light alloy wheels that amplify its road presence.

Inside, the XM Label continues to push the boundaries of luxury within a performance SUV. Buyers can now opt for BMW Individual Merino leather upholstery in a wider selection of colours, including Night Blue, Silverstone, Deep Lagoon, and Black.

Newly standard comfort cushions enhance rear passenger experience within the signature “M Lounge”, reinforcing the XM’s dual character as both a high-performance machine and a luxury flagship.

BMW Malaysia has also upgraded the XM Label’s usability. AC charging capacity is now increased to 11 kW as standard, allowing the high-voltage battery to be fully replenished in under three hours.

A reworked chassis setup delivers improved feedback and handling, while additional sound insulation contributes to a quieter, more refined cabin—particularly important for electric driving scenarios.

As with all new BMW models in Malaysia, the XM Label comes bundled with the brand’s comprehensive ownership programme, including a 5-year unlimited mileage warranty and 5 years / 100,000 km of service coverage under BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI).

Additional features such as BMW Proactive Care—accessible via the My BMW App—allow real-time monitoring of vehicle health, alerting owners to potential issues before they escalate.
