Ford has significantly expanded its Everest line-up in Malaysia with the introduction of three new variants – the Everest Sport 2.0L, Everest Platinum 2.0L and range-topping Everest Platinum 3.0L V6.
Unveiled by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford at the Sime Motors MotorExpo 2026, the expanded range gives Malaysian buyers a broader selection of seven-seat SUVs catering to family duties, long-distance touring, off-road adventures and premium lifestyle needs.
The three new variants are priced as follows:
- Ford Everest Sport 2.0L – RM316,888
- Ford Everest Platinum 2.0L – RM348,888
- Ford Everest Platinum 3.0L V6 – RM430,888
Ford Everest Platinum 3.0L V6
The headline act of the expanded range is the Everest Platinum 3.0L, which becomes the most powerful and technologically advanced Everest ever offered in Malaysia.
Under the bonnet is a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine producing 250 PS and 600 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission featuring an electronic shifter. Unlike the other variants, the Platinum 3.0L is equipped with an ElectroMagnetic Transfer Case (EMTC) full-time four-wheel-drive system that can automatically distribute torque between the front and rear axles for improved traction and stability.
The flagship variant also rides on 21-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 275/45 tyres, while exterior highlights include Matrix LED headlights, signature C-clamp daytime running lights and exclusive black PLATINUM lettering on the bonnet, front doors and tailgate.
Inside, occupants are greeted by a premium cabin featuring a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity and Ford SYNC 4A. The seven-seat SUV also comes with power-folding third-row seats, making it one of the few vehicles in its class to offer such convenience.
Ford Everest Platinum 2.0L
Positioned below the V6 flagship is the Everest Platinum 2.0L, which retains much of the Platinum trim’s premium appeal while offering a more attainable entry point.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine delivering 170 PS and 405 Nm of torque, paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission. Four-wheel-drive duties are handled by Ford’s Electronic Shift-On-The-Fly (ESOF) part-time system.
The Platinum 2.0L features a distinctive premium grille design, Matrix LED headlights and signature C-clamp daytime running lights. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with 255/55 tyres.
Inside, the cabin is centred around a 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone integration and Ford SYNC 4A, providing access to vehicle functions, navigation and connectivity features through a modern digital interface.
Ford Everest Sport 2.0L
Serving as the entry point into the refreshed range is the Everest Sport 2.0L, which combines rugged capability with a sportier appearance.
Like the Platinum 2.0L, it is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine producing 170 PS and 405 Nm, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and ESOF part-time four-wheel-drive system.
One of the key upgrades for the Sport variant is the inclusion of six selectable drive modes, including Mud/Ruts and Sand settings, allowing drivers to tackle a wider variety of terrain with greater confidence.
The exterior receives a unique grille design, black styling accents, LED headlights with signature C-clamp daytime running lights and 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, newly designed two-tone sport seats give the cabin a more youthful and dynamic feel.
The Everest Sport 2.0L is available in Command Grey, Lightning Blue, Arctic White and Absolute Black. The Everest Platinum 2.0L is offered in Acacia Green, Meteor Grey, Arctic White and Absolute Black, while the Platinum 3.0L V6 comes in Acacia Green, Meteor Grey and Absolute Black.
All three variants are now available for booking at authorised Ford dealerships nationwide. Customers who confirm their purchase during June 2026 will receive two years of free scheduled service as part of an early-bird promotion.
Buyers will also be eligible for Ford’s Fuel Rush Bonanza campaign, which runs until June 30, 2026, offering prizes including free fuel, electronics and lifestyle rewards.
