The Thunder LS250-S is now officially available in Malaysia, priced at RM23,788, positioning it as one of the most accessible factory-built custom bobbers in the 250cc segment. In comparison, the same model retails in Japan at 996,000 yen (approximately RM26,000), giving Malaysian buyers a clear pricing advantage.
The Malaysian introduction is led by Bike Continent Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Thunder Motorcycles, under the direction of Managing Director Ronnie Chen, with importation handled by Mofaz Motosikal Sdn Bhd, represented by Dato’ Nik.

The Thunder Motorcycles brand is jointly owned and overseen by renowned Japanese custom builder Noro Yuji-san and China’s leading custom motorcycle builder Ka-san.
The launch marked a significant milestone for the brand locally, highlighted by the ceremonial handover of 88 units to their new owners. This first batch signals Thunder Motorcycles’ intent to establish a dedicated custom motorcycle presence and community in Malaysia.

Developed through a collaboration between Japanese and Chinese custom specialists, the Thunder LS250-S is designed to deliver an authentic bobber aesthetic straight from the factory. Unlike conventional entry-level cruisers, it requires no aftermarket modifications to achieve a complete custom look, offering buyers a finished, show-ready motorcycle from day one.
True to classic bobber principles, the LS250-S features a 74-style springer front fork, paired with a hand-built frame that delivers the low, purposeful stance expected of the genre. A hand-crafted exhaust system produces a deep, distinctive note, while the oversized rear sprocket enhances both visual impact and torque delivery.

The motorcycle rides on wire-spoke wheels wrapped in Shinko classic saw-tooth tyres, reinforcing its vintage-inspired character. Design details such as the peanut fuel tank, low solo seat, and minimalist bodywork complete the stripped-back bobber profile.
Power comes from a 250cc fuel-injected V-twin engine, making the LS250-S approachable for riders who may not yet hold a full big-bike licence, depending on local licensing regulations. This positions the model as an entry point into the custom motorcycle scene without the cost or complexity typically associated with larger-capacity builds.

Beyond its mechanical package, the LS250-S is tailored for Malaysia’s active riding culture. The platform supports easy personalisation, backed by local parts availability and a growing owner network. Thunder Motorcycles aims to encourage participation in group rides, custom showcases, and community-led events, using the LS250-S as a common foundation.
By offering a factory-built custom bobber at a sub-RM24,000 price point, Thunder Motorcycles eliminates the need for costly aftermarket conversions. The LS250-S delivers the visual presence and character of a professionally built custom motorcycle at a fraction of the usual cost, making Japanese-inspired bobber culture more attainable for Malaysian riders.

Founded in 2020, Thunder Motorcycles Japan was established by Japanese custom builder Noro Yuji-san alongside Chinese custom expert Ka-san. The brand was created with a clear objective: to combine authentic Japanese custom motorcycle design with reliable, large-scale manufacturing, producing bobber-style motorcycles that are distinctive, dependable, and accessible to a wider audience.
