Honda has unveiled the Honda 0 Alpha prototype, a next-generation electric SUV concept, at the Japan Mobility Show 2025. The model will be showcased at Honda’s booth throughout the event until November 9, 2025.
Positioned as a “gateway model” within the Honda 0 Series lineup, the Honda 0 Alpha prototype follows the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV introduced earlier this year at CES 2025. Designed to harmonize with both urban and natural environments, the Honda 0 Alpha aims to deliver versatility, comfort, and practicality for daily life.

Honda says the prototype embodies the brand’s “Thin, Light, and Wise” development philosophy — prioritizing streamlined packaging, reduced weight, and intelligent engineering. The production version is expected to enter global markets, starting with Japan and India in 2027.
The Honda 0 Alpha prototype features a low-slung profile achieved through a “thin” cabin layout that maintains ample ground clearance. This design creates a balanced SUV stance that feels both stable and dynamic, while still offering a spacious and comfortable interior.

Up front, the prototype showcases a screen-like fascia integrating the headlights, charging port lid, and illuminated emblem into a seamless panel. At the rear, U-shaped lighting elements combine tail, reverse, and turn signal lamps, emphasizing the SUV’s width and futuristic character.
The Honda 0 Alpha prototype underscores Honda’s next step in electric mobility under the 0 Series banner, blending refined aesthetics with forward-thinking functionality ahead of its planned production debut.
