JETOUR Malaysia has given Malaysians their first opportunity to get up close and personal with the all-new Jetour T1 at the ongoing Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026, ahead of the SUV’s official market launch.

While bookings for the new model have already been open since April, KLIMS 2026 marks the public debut of the T1 in Malaysia, allowing visitors to explore the SUV firsthand before it arrives in showrooms nationwide.

Positioned below the larger T2, the T1 is expected to play a key role in expanding Jetour’s presence in the highly competitive C-segment SUV market. Combining rugged-inspired styling with a strong list of comfort, technology, and safety features, the T1 is aimed at buyers looking for a practical family SUV with a more adventurous character.

The Jetour T1 will be offered in two variants: a 1.5-litre TGDi 2WD model and a range-topping 2.0-litre TGDi XWD variant.

The entry-level variant is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Standard equipment includes full LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, leatherette upholstery, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a 12.8-inch infotainment display with voice control, an eight-speaker audio system, and ambient lighting.

Stepping up to the 2.0-litre TGDi XWD variant brings a more powerful turbocharged engine, all-wheel-drive capability, and a host of additional premium features.

Highlights include 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic sunroof, memory function for the driver’s seat, a powered front passenger seat, a larger 15.6-inch infotainment display, a nine-speaker Sony sound system, and 64-colour ambient lighting.

Safety is another strong selling point for the T1. Both variants come equipped with six airbags, a panoramic view monitor, and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The SUV has also earned a five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating, achieving an overall score of 87.67 points under the latest 2021-2025 assessment protocol.
