Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has previewed the all-new electric C-Class in Malaysia, with the C 300 4MATIC electric AMG Line Plus now available for pre-booking at an estimated price of RM360,888.
The first fully electric C-Class brings together the model’s familiar luxury, comfort and sporty character with an all-electric drivetrain. It is powered by a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system producing 310 kW (421 hp) and 800 Nm of torque, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 210 km/h.
Customers can also opt for the Mercedes-Benz Agility+ financing plan, which starts from an estimated RM3,988 per month. The package includes a fifth-year Star Gold extended limited warranty and four Compact Service Packages.
Up to 690 km of WLTP Range
The electric C-Class is equipped with an 85 kWh usable battery and an 800-volt electrical architecture, delivering a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 690 km.
DC fast charging is supported at up to 320 kW, allowing the battery to be charged from 10% to 80% in approximately 22 minutes. Mercedes-Benz also claims that up to 290 km of driving range can be added in 10 minutes under suitable charging conditions.
An innovative two-speed transmission on the rear axle is designed to balance strong acceleration with efficiency at higher speeds. The front electric motor operates as a boost unit, engaging when additional power or traction is required. Under lighter loads, it can be disconnected to reduce energy losses.
Sporty AMG Line Plus Design
The new electric C-Class adopts a coupé-like silhouette, featuring a low front end, flowing roofline and fastback-style rear. Its illuminated iconic grille incorporates a dark chrome frame, smoked glass-look mesh and an integrated central Mercedes-Benz star.
The AMG Line Plus specification adds 20-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels, a Night Package with high-gloss black exterior accents and DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps featuring a distinctive star design.
At the rear, four round star-design taillights give the electric saloon a distinctive appearance. The model also features animated exterior lighting and surround lighting with Mercedes-Benz pattern projection.
With a drag coefficient starting at 0.22, the electric C-Class has been designed to maximise aerodynamic efficiency and driving range.
A More Spacious and Digital Cabin
The cabin features the 39.1-inch MBUX Hyperscreen, which stretches across the dashboard and integrates the instrument display, central infotainment system and front passenger screen.
Other highlights include a Burmester 3D surround sound system, a SKY CONTROL panoramic roof with 162 illuminated stars, wireless charging trays, ambient lighting and a selfie and video camera integrated into the central display.
The panoramic roof features nine independently switchable segments, allowing its glass surface to transition between transparent and opaque. The cabin also offers 11 ambient styles and sound visualisation lighting.
The electric C-Class benefits from a longer 2,962 mm wheelbase, which is 97 mm longer than the conventionally powered C-Class saloon. Boot capacity stands at 470 litres, while a further 101 litres of storage is available in the front boot.
Advanced Safety and Driver Assistance
The all-new electric C-Class is equipped with MB.DRIVE ASSIST, providing steering support for partially automated driving, alongside MB.DRIVE PARKING ASSIST 360 with a 360-degree camera system.
The vehicle incorporates up to 27 cameras and sensors, while its passive safety equipment includes up to 11 airbags. Additional safety features include PRE-SAFE and an acoustic presence indicator designed to alert pedestrians and other road users at speeds of up to 30 km/h.
