Jetour Malaysia has added a darker, more aggressive twist to its SUV line-up with the introduction of the new Jetour Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition, priced at RM116,800.
Positioned as a styling-led special edition, the Dark Warrior package gives the Dashing a far more menacing road presence without altering the SUV’s mechanical package. Buyers also get five times free service, a seven-year / 150,000 km vehicle warranty, and a 10-year / 1,000,000 km engine warranty, making it a fairly compelling value proposition for those who want something that stands out without paying luxury-brand money.
Visually, the Dark Warrior Limited Edition is all about stealth. The SUV gets a Matte Black exterior finish, paired with blacked-out Jetour badging front and rear, a blacked-out Dashing emblem, as well as 19-inch Phantom Black alloy wheels. Adding some contrast to the murdered-out theme are red brake calipers, which give the SUV a sportier edge.

Under the skin, however, the formula remains unchanged. Power comes from the familiar 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 156 PS and 230 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission. Suspension duties are handled by MacPherson struts up front and a multi-link rear setup, which should continue to deliver the same comfort-focused drive the regular Dashing is known for.
The rest of the package remains generous for the price point. Exterior kit includes LED Matrix headlamps, daytime running lights, sequential rear turn signals, frameless wipers, and concealed door handles, while selected variants also come with a wide-angle panoramic sunroof. Boot space stands at 486 litres, expandable to 977 litres with the 60:40 split-folding rear seats down.
Inside, the Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition retains the same tech-heavy cabin as the standard model. Highlights include a 10.25-inch twin-screen display setup, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 50W wireless charger, and a neatly laid-out centre console. Buyers also get a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, rear air vents, rear USB ports, and ambient lighting to round off the experience.

On the safety front, the SUV comes with a decent list of driver assistance and convenience features, including cruise control, tyre pressure monitoring, a rear camera with parking guidelines, and a 360-degree surround-view camera. There are also more advanced systems such as Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Lane Change Warning.
According to Jetour Auto Malaysia CEO Fu Yong, the new special edition is aimed at buyers who want a more distinctive-looking SUV while still keeping everyday usability intact.

In short, the Jetour Dashing Dark Warrior Limited Edition is less about performance upgrades and more about attitude. But at this price point, the blacked-out makeover could be enough to tempt SUV buyers who want something a little more dramatic in the sea of lookalike crossovers.
