Hyundai Motor Malaysia has set the tone for its next chapter with an exclusive preview of three key models that reflect the brand’s evolving identity and future ambitions for the Malaysian market.

The updated Staria MPV, the refreshed Tucson SUV, and the all-new Santa Fe, which will all be launched next week, offered a glimpse into Hyundai’s dynamic product roadmap, as the company continues to strengthen its position in the Malaysian market with offerings that cater to a wide spectrum of lifestyles, from urban families to premium movers and adventure seekers.

Also previewed was the new Hyundai Tucson, a thoroughly refreshed version of the brand’s popular C-segment SUV. The most notable update lies in its interior, now featuring a sleek panoramic curved display and redesigned controls, giving the cabin a tech-forward, premium feel.

The new TUCSON will be offered in both internal combustion engine (ICE) and hybrid variants. The ICE options include a 2.0L engine in the Style variant and a 1.6L turbocharged engine for the Prime and Prestige trims.

A brand-new Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) variant joins the lineup, delivering 235 PS and 367 Nm of torque — ideal for urban commuters seeking performance with lower emissions.

The hybrid’s 6-speed automatic transmission and SmartSense ADAS package, including Junction Turning Collision Avoidance and Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, place it among the safest and smartest in its class.

It features a boxier, more muscular silhouette and a wide tailgate opening that hints at its enhanced practicality. Inside, the new platform allows for greater seating flexibility, with 5-, 6-, and 7-seater options across various ICE and hybrid configurations.
