BMW Group Malaysia has officially introduced the All-New BMW R 1300 GS Adventure at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025, marking a new chapter in premium adventure touring. Redesigned from the ground up, this latest flagship motorcycle embodies BMW Motorrad’s commitment to innovation, performance, and long-distance comfort, both on and off the road.
The R 1300 GS Adventure boasts a nearly complete overhaul in design, featuring a revamped engine, chassis, and bodywork. At its core is a new, more compact twin-cylinder boxer engine producing 145 hp and 149 Nm of torque—making it the most powerful series-production boxer engine BMW has created.
It incorporates BMW’s ShiftCam technology, enhancing torque and fuel efficiency across all RPM ranges. A stainless steel 2-in-1 exhaust system further boosts power delivery while reducing weight.
Riders benefit from a wide range of riding modes, including “Rain,” “Road,” “Eco,” and “Enduro,” as well as advanced options like “Dynamic Pro” and “Enduro Pro” for more extreme terrains. The bike’s chassis features a steel main frame with an aluminium rear, supported by the advanced EVO Telelever and Paralever suspension systems, which deliver superior stability and comfort. Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) and adaptive vehicle height control come standard, ensuring optimal performance with or without a passenger and luggage.
Technology plays a key role in enhancing the riding experience. The motorcycle features Matrix LED headlamps, adaptive cornering lights, and new LED turn signals integrated into the hand guards.
Safety systems such as Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), ABS Pro, Hill Start Control, and multiple collision warning features come standard. A full-colour 6.5-inch TFT display provides real-time riding data and integrates with the BMW Motorrad Connected app, offering navigation, performance insights, and smartphone connectivity.
The R 1300 GS Adventure is available in four striking variants: Racing Red, Triple Black, GS Trophy, and Option 719 Karakorum. Each version offers unique styling, from the athletic boldness of Racing Red to the premium touches of the Option 719 Karakorum with its Aurelius Green finish and gold accents.
BMW has priced the All-New R 1300 GS Adventure at RM 150,000 for Racing Red, RM 155,000 for Triple Black and GS Trophy, and RM 165,000 for the Option 719 Karakorum. Each model includes a 3-year warranty and roadside assistance package.
