BMW Malaysia has officially launched the BMW iX3 50 xDrive M Sport Pro, priced at RM378,800 (on-the-road without insurance), or RM399,800 with the BMW Service & Repair Inclusive (BSRI) package. The all-electric SUV also comes with a three-month payment holiday before the first instalment for eligible buyers.
The new iX3 marks the Malaysian debut of BMW’s highly anticipated Neue Klasse platform and has already been crowned both the 2026 World Car of the Year and 2026 World Electric Vehicle of the Year, signalling the beginning of BMW’s next generation of electric vehicles.

The iX3 is the first production BMW to feature the company’s sixth-generation eDrive technology built on an 800-volt architecture. Power comes from dual electric motors producing 469 hp (345 kW) and 645 Nm, driving all four wheels via BMW’s xDrive system.
A 108.7-kWh battery delivers a claimed WLTP range of up to 805 km, making it one of the longest-range EVs available today. Thanks to its 800V electrical architecture, the iX3 supports DC fast charging of up to 400 kW, allowing up to 372 km of range to be added in just 10 minutes, while remaining compatible with existing 400V charging infrastructure.

Another major highlight is the debut of BMW’s new Heart of Joy control unit, which integrates the powertrain, braking and chassis systems. BMW says it responds up to 10 times faster than conventional systems, improving acceleration, regenerative braking and vehicle dynamics. Regenerative braking is capable of handling around 98% of everyday braking scenarios, delivering a smoother and more refined driving experience.

Inside, the iX3 introduces the BMW Panoramic iDrive cockpit. Instead of a conventional instrument cluster, key information is projected across a 43.3-inch BMW Panoramic Vision display spanning the width of the windscreen.

This is complemented by a 3D Head-Up Display, a 17.9-inch central touchscreen running the latest BMW Operating System X, and a new AI-powered BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant capable of learning driver habits and automating routines.
The Neue Klasse design language also makes its production debut, featuring a cleaner, minimalist exterior with an illuminated BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille, flush door handles, slim lighting elements and aerodynamic styling that contributes to a drag coefficient of just 0.24.

Standard equipment includes 22-inch M alloy wheels, M Sport seats with heating and massage functions, three-zone climate control, Harman Kardon 13-speaker audio system, panoramic glass roof, wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, BMW Digital Key Plus, and BMW Digital Premium connectivity services.

Driver assistance features comprise Driving Assistant Plus, adaptive cruise control, lane centring, emergency braking, Parking Assistant Professional with remote parking via smartphone, a 360-degree camera system and AI-enhanced parking functions.

The iX3 also offers 520 litres of luggage capacity, expandable to 1,750 litres with the rear seats folded, plus a 58-litre front storage compartment (frunk).

Available in six exterior colours, including the new Ocean Wave Blue and Polarised Grey, the iX3 is backed by BMW’s comprehensive ownership package comprising a 5-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, 6 years of unlimited mileage service for BEVs, an 8-year high-voltage battery warranty, and 24/7 BMW Roadside Assistance.
