Nexen Tire Malaysia has introduced two new tire ranges, the N’blue S and N’fera Primus UX, aimed at improving wet-weather traction, highway stability and driving comfort for Malaysian motorists.
Launched on 30 October 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, both tire ranges are designed for electric vehicles (EVs) and internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, making them suitable for a wide range of models.
The launch comes ahead of the year-end monsoon season, when wet roads and heavy rainfall place greater demands on tire performance and safety.
Both ranges carry Nexen Tire’s EV ROOT mark, indicating that they are engineered to handle the additional weight and instant torque associated with EVs without requiring a separate EV-specific tire version.
N’blue S Focuses on Wet-Weather Performance
The N’blue S is a touring tire developed with an emphasis on wet-road traction. Its tread design helps channel water away from the tire’s contact patch, reducing the risk of aquaplaning during heavy rain.
The tire also features a low rolling resistance construction aimed at improving fuel efficiency. Available in Malaysia in 110 sizes covering 14- to 17-inch rim diameters, the N’blue S is also supplied as original equipment on selected models, including the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3.
N’fera Primus UX Offers Improved Stability
The N’fera Primus UX is an ultra-high-performance tire designed for drivers who prioritise highway stability and comfort.
Its reinforced construction is intended to provide greater stability during high-speed driving, particularly on longer journeys. Nexen Tire also claims approximately 20% better tread wear compared to its predecessor.
The tire follows the brand’s One Universal Fit strategy, allowing it to cater to vehicles from European, Japanese, South Korean and Chinese manufacturers.
Six-Month Tire Replacement Programme
Both the N’blue S and N’fera Primus UX are covered by the Nexen Tire Exchange Programme, which provides a six-month unconditional one-to-one replacement for eligible road hazard damage.
Customers must register their tires at the point of purchase, with the programme available through participating distributors.
Nexen Tire Malaysia is also working on a dedicated warranty programme for the local market, with further details expected to be announced at a later date.
