Honda Malaysia has officially launched the refreshed City Hatchback, with updated styling, improved connectivity and a more comprehensive suite of safety features. The latest model is offered in three variants, priced from RM95,900 to RM112,900.
The launch follows the introduction of the updated City Sedan, giving Malaysian buyers the choice between two body styles within Honda’s popular B-segment lineup.
The new City Hatchback is available in the V, Petrol RS and e RS variants, with prices as follows:
- City Hatchback V: RM95,900
- City Hatchback Petrol RS: RM100,900
- City Hatchback e RS: RM112,900
All prices are on-the-road, without insurance.
Sharper styling, updated cabin
The refreshed City Hatchback receives a revised front-end design, with all variants featuring an integrated headlight layout incorporating new connected headlights and Bi-LED headlights.
The RS variants ride on new 16-inch two-tone alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear, while the V variant gets Shark Gray wheels.
Buyers can choose from four exterior colours: Platinum White Pearl, Meteoroid Gray Metallic, Stellar Diamond Pearl and the new Blazing Red Pearl.
Inside, the updated dashboard features a new 3D Pattern Mid Garnish and ambient lighting. The RS variants also receive redesigned sport seats with contrasting red stitching, reinforcing their sportier character.
Connectivity is improved with a larger 10-inch Display Audio system, alongside a new wireless charger. The model retains Honda’s ULTRA Seats, which offer four configurations — Utility, Long, Tall and Refresh — to accommodate different passenger and cargo requirements.
More safety features across the range
One of the key upgrades is the wider availability of driver assistance and visibility technologies.
Blind Spot Information with Cross Traffic Monitoring, Honda LaneWatch and Honda SENSING are now standard across all three variants. The RS models additionally receive a 360-degree Multi-View Camera System.
These additions strengthen the City Hatchback’s safety offering, particularly for urban driving, lane changes and manoeuvring in confined spaces.
Petrol and hybrid powertrains
The City Hatchback continues to offer a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine or Honda’s 1.5-litre e hybrid powertrain.
The e RS produces 109PS and 253Nm of torque, offering an alternative for buyers seeking improved efficiency without moving to a fully electric vehicle.
Honda Malaysia is also providing an eight-year warranty with unlimited mileage for both petrol and hybrid variants. Hybrid buyers receive an additional 10-year hybrid battery warranty with unlimited mileage.
Launch rewards and trade-in incentives
To mark the launch, customers who register any variant of the new City Hatchback will receive an RM4,000 cash reward.
Existing Honda owners trading in their vehicles through the selected Honda Certified Used Car programme can enjoy an additional RM2,000 rebate on their new Honda purchase.
Customers trading in vehicles of any brand through CARSOME at participating Honda authorised dealers can also receive an RM1,000 rebate. The incentives are subject to Honda Malaysia’s applicable terms and conditions.
