Toyota is giving visitors a glimpse into the future of mobility at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026 with the showcase of three concept vehicles that highlight the brand’s vision for design, utility, and accessible transportation.

Taking centre stage at the Toyota booth are the Corolla Concept, IMV Origin Concept, and the compact Kids Mobi, alongside several production models currently available in Malaysia. The display reflects Toyota’s continued commitment to exploring future mobility solutions while remaining grounded in practical transportation needs.

The star attraction is undoubtedly the Toyota Corolla Concept, which made its global debut at the Japan Mobility Show in 2025. While Toyota has yet to reveal any production plans for the vehicle, the concept offers a fresh interpretation of one of the world’s most recognisable nameplates.

Featuring a more futuristic design language than today’s Corolla, the concept showcases Toyota’s evolving approach to styling, technology integration, and next-generation mobility. Its appearance at KLIMS 2026 provides Malaysian visitors with a rare opportunity to see one of Toyota’s latest global concept vehicles up close.

Also drawing attention is the Toyota IMV Origin Concept, a rugged and versatile study based on Toyota’s Innovative International Multi-purpose Vehicle (IMV) platform. The concept pays tribute to the durability and adaptability that have made models such as the Hilux and Fortuner popular worldwide.

With its utilitarian design and adventurous character, the IMV Origin Concept demonstrates how Toyota continues to explore new possibilities for vehicles that can serve both commercial and lifestyle-oriented purposes. The concept also reflects the brand’s ongoing efforts to develop products that can adapt to changing customer demands across different markets.

Completing the trio is the Toyota Kids Mobi, a compact mobility concept designed to make transportation more inclusive and accessible. Although significantly smaller than the other concepts on display, the Kids Mobi highlights Toyota’s belief that future mobility solutions should cater to users of all ages and abilities.

The concept embodies Toyota’s broader vision of creating mobility for everyone, a philosophy that extends beyond conventional passenger vehicles and into new forms of personal transportation.

In addition to the concept vehicles, Toyota is also showcasing several of its current electrified and production models. Visitors can expect to see models such as the recently launched Yaris Cross, bZ4X electric SUV, and Hilux BEV, demonstrating the company’s multi-pathway approach towards carbon neutrality and sustainable mobility.

The display reinforces Toyota’s strategy of developing multiple technologies, including hybrid, battery-electric, and future mobility solutions, rather than relying on a single pathway towards electrification.
