Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has opened the Register of Interest for the all-new Mitsubishi Xforce, marking the clearest indication yet that the compact SUV’s Malaysian debut is just around the corner.
Official bookings are scheduled to commence in early February 2026, giving prospective buyers an early opportunity to receive product updates, launch information, and invitations to preview events ahead of its market introduction.
As part of its pre-launch push, MMM will also bring the Xforce directly to the public through a nationwide roving truck activation beginning in mid-January 2026. This mobile showcase will tour key regions across Malaysia, offering closer access to the vehicle, on-site registrations, and detailed insights into its features before the official launch.

The growing anticipation is further fuelled by recent sightings of the Mitsubishi Xforce in Malaysia, with multiple units reportedly spotted at local ports. These appearances strongly suggest that dealer stock is already arriving and that launch preparations are well underway.
Industry expectations point to the Xforce arriving in the local market in the first quarter of 2026, in line with Mitsubishi’s regional rollout strategy following its introduction in Indonesia.
Developed specifically with Southeast Asian markets in mind, the Mitsubishi Xforce is a five-seat compact SUV designed to balance rugged SUV character with everyday usability.
It adopts Mitsubishi’s “Silky & Solid” design language, combining sharp modern styling with a muscular stance that gives it a confident on-road presence. The model’s design credentials have already been recognised internationally, having secured the iF Design Award 2024 in the Product Design category.
For Malaysia, the Xforce is expected to closely mirror Indonesian-market specifications. Power comes from a 1.5-litre MIVEC naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive.

Output is rated at approximately 103 hp and 141 Nm of torque, focusing on smooth, efficient performance for urban driving and highway cruising rather than outright speed. A ground clearance of 222 mm further enhances its suitability for local road conditions.
Inside, the Xforce offers a practical five-seat layout with an emphasis on comfort and daily usability. Key features include a large touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a digital driver display, and a premium Yamaha-developed audio system designed to deliver an immersive in-cabin sound experience.
Safety and driver assistance are also central to the Xforce’s positioning. The compact SUV is expected to be equipped with multiple airbags, forward collision mitigation, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and automatic high beam assistance.
These systems are complemented by a well-tuned suspension and selectable drive modes, aimed at delivering confidence and stability across varying road surfaces.

Upon launch, the Mitsubishi Xforce will enter a highly competitive compact SUV segment in Malaysia, going up against established rivals such as the Honda HR-V, Toyota Corolla Cross, and Mazda CX-30.
With its blend of bold design, practical packaging, modern technology, and comprehensive safety features, the Xforce represents a key step in Mitsubishi’s efforts to expand its footprint in the local SUV market as its official launch draws closer.
