Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the country, recently launched an updated version of its Triton Athlete pickup truck to commemorate its 20th anniversary in Malaysia.
The enhanced Triton Athlete receives several design and functional upgrades:
- New Front Bumper Garnish for a more aggressive look
- Styling Bar to accentuate its rugged profile
- Tailgate Assist for easier opening and closing
- New Body Decals for a refreshed visual identity
Priced at RM159,980 (on-the-road without insurance, Peninsular Malaysia), the Triton Athlete remains the flagship of the Triton range, offering premium styling with everyday utility.
Since its local debut, the Triton has sold nearly 120,000 units. MMM CEO Shinya Ikeda stated that the model continues to represent reliability and performance for Malaysian customers, both on-road and off-road.
To mark the milestone, Mitsubishi Motors is also offering several limited-time incentives for the Triton Athlete:
- 5-Year Free Maintenance (5YFM) or cash rewards up to RM8,000
- 5-Year Warranty with Unlimited Mileage
- Financing rates from 0.6%, available through Maybank and Public Bank
