BMW Group Malaysia today unveiled the 2021 G22 BMW 430i Coupé M Sport, with an asking price of RM454,800.
Compared to its predecessor, the All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport’s dimensions measure slightly larger at 4,768 mm in length (+130), 1,852 mm in width (+27), 1,383 mm in height (+6), and 2,851 mm in wheelbase (+41).
From the side, short overhangs and the longest coupé doors to be found on any BMW help provide an overall elongated and dynamic impression. 19-inch M light alloy wheels in Double-spoke style 797 M Bicolour with mixed tyres and runflat tyres, and M Sport brakes with blue painted brake callipers and ‘M’ designation further enhance the sporty, agile profile of the All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport. Towards the rear, exhaust tailpipes are finished in high-glass chrome.
The All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport arrives with the M Aerodynamics Package, BMW Laserlights with High-beam Assistant, LED fog lights, the BMW Individual high-gloss Shadow Line.
At the heart of the All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport is the BMW TwinTurbo 4-cylinder petrol engine, which combines a twin-scroll turbocharger with Valvetronic, Double VANOS and High-Precision Injection.
The All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport impresses with a maximum output of 258 hp and 400 Nm of torque, completing a 0 – 100 km/h sprint in just 5.8 seconds. The top speed of the All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport is 250 km/h.
Power to the wheels is transmitted via an upgraded 8-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission with improved efficiency resulting in a fuel consumption of 6.6 litre per 100 km of travel, and CO2 emissions of 151 g per kilometre of travel. Optimised dynamics is achieved through enhanced ride and shift comfort, along with shorter shift times.
Agile handling is aided by advanced control systems such as ARB technology (actuator contiguous wheel slip limitation), which enables significantly faster and more sensitive wheel slip control. Further supplementing the especially sporty driving dynamics are the M Sport suspension, M Sport brakes and Variable Sport Steering.
Additionally, the All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport comes standard with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC) and Antilock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist to provide a complete package in advanced driving dynamics.
Standard equipment includes sport seats for the driver and passenger, M leather steering wheel, M-specific pedals, Leather Vernasca upholstery, and BMW Individual headliner Anthracite, complete with interior trim finisher Aluminium Tetragon with highlight trim finisher in Pearl Chrome. M-specific stripes adorn the safety belts for both front and rear seats.
Visually enhancing the interior ambience are the welcome light carpet and ambient light with 11 predefined lighting designs, while floor mats in velour and automatic air conditioning with 3-zone control denote the luxury-focus of the All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport.
The All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport features BMW Live Cockpit Professional with fully digital 12.3” instrument display along with BMW Navigation System Professional with 10.25” touch sensitive display.
In-car entertainment is achieved through a 16-speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound System and extended functionality for Bluetooth and USB devices with wireless charging.
The rear seats provide passengers with the sporty seating experience of a coupé, while still providing ample headspace. 40/20/40-split folding function for the rear backrests allow for a through-loading system, further expanding and providing access to the 440-litre luggage compartment.
In addition to Speed Limit Assist, Cross-traffic Warning, Rear Collision Prevention, and Approach Control Warning, the All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport comes equipped with the Driving Assistant Package which includes features such as Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Warning, and front collision warning with brake intervention.
The All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport also comes with Parking Assistant with rear-view camera and Reversing Assistant, which continuously records the last 50 metres of driving (when driven slowly, at speeds of up to 35 km/h) and automatically reverses back the exact same way if requested, allowing for effortless navigation out of parking spots or tight spaces.
The All-New BMW 430i Coupé M Sport is available in Arctic Race Blue Metallic, Portimao Blue, Alpine White, and Black Sapphire. Leather Vernasca upholstery with black décor stitching decorates the interior and comes in Black, Tacora Red or Cognac.

Just a few weeks on from its world premiere, BMW M has introduced a very special edition model of the new BMW M4 Competition.
Created in collaboration with New York lifestyle brand Kith, the BMW M4 Competition x KITH is limited to just 150 units and features unique exterior and interior design details.
At the same time, Kith will be offering a 96‑piece collection of exclusively designed apparel and accessories in all its stores and online.
While the M4 Competition badge on the model’s boot lid has been replaced by a black Kith logo with BMW M stripes in the same style, this logo also appears in illuminated form below the head restraints in the M Carbon bucket seats, and Kith lettering is embossed into the black leather of the head restraints and centre console.
Merging logos is a hallmark of the many partnerships Kith has forged with other globally renowned companies, but this is the first time BMW has altered its badge for a collaboration partner.
The fusion logo created for the 150 units of the BMW M4 Competition x KITH adds an extra ring around the BMW roundel in the BMW M colours light blue, dark blue and red.
Plus, there are details in bright lettering focusing on Kith and the collaboration. The rear of the BMW M4 Competition x KITH also has the black Kith logo with BMW M stripes.
The special-edition models are available exclusively with the matte paint finishes Frozen Black, Frozen Dark Silver and Frozen Brilliant White in homage to the three most popular colours for the BMW E30 M3 back in the day.
One of the main highlights of the special-edition models is the Kith carbon-fibre roof design. For this optional extra, grey Kith lettering with BMW M stripes is woven into the roof surface. M Compound brakes with red callipers bearing the M logo come as standard.
These are clearly visible through the double spokes of the M forged wheels 826M bi-colour / Jet Black, high-gloss (front: 19-inch, rear: 20-inch).
Inside, the BMW M4 Competition x KITH the tri-colour M Carbon bucket seats feature the BMW M colours light blue and red which add striking flourishes to the Merino full-leather trim in Black.
Kith lettering is also embossed into the black leather of the front and rear head restraints and centre armrest of the BMW M4 Competition x KITH.
The centre console features an exclusive badge with the Kith logo and BMW M stripes. The illuminated M badge below the front head restraints also has Kith lettering.
The special-edition model has the same technical profile as the BMW M4 Competition Coupé, kicking out 510 hp and 650 Nm of torque, enabling the car to sprint from naught to 100 in 3.9 seconds.
As well as classical rear-wheel drive, the BMW M4 Competition x KITH can – like the BMW M4 Competition Coupé – be specified as an option with M xDrive all-wheel drive.
In addition to the standard equipment of the BMW M4 Competition Coupé and the bespoke Kith collaboration features, the special-edition model can also be ordered with a selection of other extras.
Like the M Compound brakes, M forged wheels and M Carbon bucket seats, the M Carbon exterior package, BMW Laserlight and BMW Individual lights Shadowline are standard.
Plus, the cabin features Carbon Fibre interior trim strips and controls with electroplated applications.
Deliveries of the limited-edition BMW M4 Competition x KITH will begin in summer 2021.
