Naza Eastern Motors has officially launched the all-new Suzuki e VITARA in Malaysia, marking Suzuki’s entry into the battery electric vehicle (BEV) space with its first global electric SUV. Priced from RM188,000 (OTR without insurance), the e VITARA arrives in limited units as a pioneer model aimed at early EV adopters.
The launch also introduces a broader ownership push, including a five-year unlimited mileage warranty programme for selected Suzuki models and additional ownership benefits for EV buyers.
Suzuki’s First Global EV SUV
The e VITARA represents a key milestone in Suzuki’s electrification strategy, built around the brand’s “Emotional Versatile Cruiser” concept. It combines SUV styling with a dedicated EV architecture, underpinned by the HEARTECT-e platform.
Power comes from Suzuki’s new eAxle system, paired with a 61kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, delivering:
- 172hp (128kW)
- 193Nm torque
- Up to 426km driving range
Drivers can switch between ECO, NORMAL and SPORT modes depending on driving preference and conditions.
Charging Performance
The e VITARA supports both AC and DC charging:
- DC fast charging (10–80%): ~45 minutes
- AC charging (10–100%): ~9 hours (7kW charger)

Ownership Benefits and Warranty
To support EV adoption, Suzuki and Naza Eastern Motors are offering a strong aftersales package:
- 5-year unlimited mileage vehicle warranty
- 5-year / 100,000km BEV component warranty
- 8-year / 160,000km battery warranty
In addition, the first 10 customers will receive five years of complimentary EV charging at selected dealerships (terms and conditions apply).
A broader update also sees selected Suzuki models in Malaysia (Jimny AllGrip Plus, Jimny Rhino Plus, Fronx and Fronx Sport) upgraded to a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, replacing the previous 3-year/100,000km coverage.

Styled under Suzuki’s “High-Tech & Adventure” DNA, the e VITARA adopts a bold “Metal Beast” design language:
