Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (MODENAS) has expanded its motorcycle portfolio with the launch of three new models at Malaysia Bike Show 2026 – the Modenas Z650 S, Kawasaki Z1100 SE and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R.
The trio strengthens MODENAS’ presence across the street, premium naked and supersport segments, giving Malaysian riders more options ranging from daily commuting to high-performance riding.

According to MODENAS Chief Executive Officer Roslan Roskan, the latest additions reflect changing consumer preferences and the company’s commitment to offering a broader range of motorcycles for different riding needs.
Beyond introducing new products, MODENAS said it will continue investing in dealer readiness, aftersales support, spare parts availability and rider engagement programmes to enhance the ownership experience.
Modenas Z650 S: Updated Middleweight Streetfighter From RM35,600
Leading the launch is the new Modenas Z650 S, a middleweight naked bike designed to balance everyday usability with sporty performance.

Powered by a 649 cc parallel-twin engine paired with a six-speed gearbox, the Z650 S continues to target riders looking for a versatile machine capable of handling both urban commutes and weekend rides. The 2026 model receives revised ergonomics, including wider handlebars positioned slightly forward, rear-set footpegs and a higher 805 mm seat height for a sportier riding position.
The bike also gains redesigned bodywork, updated LED lighting and a 4.3-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity.

Kawasaki Z1100 SE: New Flagship Naked Bike
Also making its Malaysian debut is the Kawasaki Z1100 SE, which becomes the new flagship model in Kawasaki’s naturally aspirated Z-Series line-up.

Replacing the Z1000 at the top of the range, the Z1100 SE adopts Kawasaki’s latest Sugomi design language and is powered by a larger 1,099 cc inline-four engine. Kawasaki says the increased displacement delivers stronger low- and mid-range torque while maintaining the aggressive character expected from a large-capacity naked bike.
The Z1100 SE also features premium suspension and rider-assistance technologies aimed at experienced riders seeking a more refined and performance-focused riding experience.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R: WSBK-Inspired Superbike Returns
Completing the line-up is the latest Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, the brand’s flagship supersport motorcycle inspired by its World Superbike Championship programme.

The updated model receives revised aerodynamic bodywork with integrated winglets, improving high-speed stability and front-end feel. It also gains a new five-inch TFT display with smartphone connectivity and navigation functions.
Power comes from Kawasaki’s proven 998 cc inline-four engine, producing up to 150 kW (204 PS) and 111.8 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission and an extensive suite of electronic rider aids.

Equipment highlights include Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF), Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), Kawasaki Quick Shifter (KQS), electronic cruise control and an Öhlins electronic steering damper.

Alongside the new model introductions, MODENAS reiterated its commitment to strengthening customer support through improved dealer capabilities, parts availability and aftersales service.

The company will also continue supporting owner communities and riding programmes, including its Lokal Lagi Syok initiative, as part of efforts to strengthen engagement with riders beyond the showroom.
