JETOUR Malaysia has officially launched the JETOUR T2 in Malaysia, introducing a rugged yet premium SUV aimed at buyers seeking both everyday comfort and genuine all-terrain capability.
Priced at RM156,800, the T2 becomes the brand’s most premium offering locally and expands its growing SUV lineup alongside models such as the Dashing and VT9.

The arrival of the T2 signals the brand’s push into Malaysia’s increasingly competitive lifestyle SUV segment, targeting drivers who want a vehicle that blends off-road character with modern technology and practicality.
Design

The T2 adopts a bold, squared-off design that emphasises toughness and functionality. Its upright stance, angular body lines and pronounced wheel arches give it a distinctive off-road-inspired look, while signature LED headlamps integrated with the illuminated JETOUR lettering add a modern visual identity.
Measuring 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide and 1,875 mm tall, with a 2,800 mm wheelbase, the SUV offers substantial road presence while also delivering generous cabin space for passengers and cargo.

Customers in Malaysia can choose from several exterior colours including Khaki White, Aviation Silver and Carbon Black.
Despite its rugged appearance, the T2 rides on a unibody platform, designed to balance off-road capability with the comfort and refinement expected of a modern SUV.
Powertrain
Under the hood, the T2 is powered by a 2.0-litre TGDi turbocharged petrol engine delivering 245 PS and 375 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The powertrain is supported by the brand’s X-Intelligent Drive system, which adapts the vehicle’s traction and performance depending on terrain and driving conditions.
Multiple drive modes allow the T2 to transition seamlessly between city roads, highways and rougher terrain, reinforcing its positioning as a lifestyle SUV capable of handling both urban commutes and weekend adventures.
Interior

Inside, the T2 combines practical design with modern digital features. A 15.6-inch central touchscreen infotainment system takes centre stage on the dashboard, supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

This is paired with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster that provides driving information in a clear, configurable display.

The cabin also features a 12-speaker Sony premium sound system, along with premium materials and a driver-focused layout designed to enhance long-distance comfort.

Additional features include powered front seats, a panoramic glass roof and a high centre console with a rotary drive selector.
Safety
Safety is supported by a suite of modern driver-assistance systems, including Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The system integrates several active safety technologies such as autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane centring assist, blind spot monitoring and rear collision warning.

Other safety features include six airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a 360-degree surround-view camera, helping drivers navigate both urban traffic and tighter off-road environments with greater confidence.
Rivals
In Malaysia, the T2 enters the growing rugged lifestyle SUV segment, where it competes with models such as the GWM Tank 300, which carries a significantly higher price tag of around RM250,000.
Its boxy styling and adventure-ready positioning also place it alongside emerging off-road-inspired newcomers from Chinese brands.

However, with its combination of turbocharged performance, extensive tech features and a price under RM180k, the T2 could appeal to buyers looking for the rugged SUV aesthetic without the premium price typically associated with traditional ladder-frame off-roaders.
According to JETOUR Malaysia, the T2 represents an important milestone in the brand’s expansion in the country.

The model is built around the company’s “Travel+” philosophy, which focuses on vehicles designed to support exploration, lifestyle mobility and long-distance journeys.
With its combination of rugged styling, strong turbocharged performance and a feature-rich interior, the T2 aims to attract Malaysian buyers looking for a distinctive alternative to conventional SUVs in the segment.
Offered in three colours, the Jetour T2 also comes with a 7-year/150,000km warranty coverage (for the car), 5 times free service, and a 10-year/ 1 million km warranty for the powertrain.
