Only two units of the Ducati Panigale V4R were brought in, and both have found their homes already
In conjunction with the launch of the new Ducati Kuala Lumpur showroom located in Wisma Pahlawan, Ducati Malaysia unveiled two new additions to its legendary lineup of high-performance bikes – the Ducati Panigale V4R and the Ducati Monster SP.
Firstly, we have the Panigale V4R which is a bike built to dominate the race track. Its 998cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine revs to 16,500 rpm and produces a staggering 218 horsepower at 15,500 rpm, making it unparalleled in its class.
The Panigale V4 R also boasts state-of-the-art aerodynamics, including an aerodynamic biplane wing that produces the same downforce as the previous version but designed to reduce drag and increase stability.
The bike’s chassis has been optimized for agility and precision handling, ensuring that every ride is an unforgettable experience. The Panigale V4R also features a host of advanced electronics, including a new Track EVO info mode on the dashboard, new Power Mode strategy, new Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) strategy, and new Engine Brake Control (EBC) EVO 2 software.
The bike comes in the special MotoGP inspired R livery with the highlighted number “1”. For the first time, the Panigale V4R will be built as a numbered series, with progressive number and name of the bike model featured on the billet aluminium steering stem.
That being said, the 2023 Ducati Panigale V4R will be priced for ownership at RM458,900.00 (Base Selling Price).
Next up, we have the Ducati Monster SP which is designed to enhance fun thanks to new technical equipment perfect for those who love sporty riding and embellish style with the Moto GP-inspired livery.
With a 937cc Testastretta 11° engine that produces 111 horsepower, this bike is an absolute thrill on the streets and on the track. The Monster SP features an expressive design that accentuates its aggressive personality.
It comes equipped with Öhlins suspension, Brembo Stylema calipers, Termignoni homologated silencers and Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires, ensuring that riders have complete control and confidence on the asphalt.
The bike also features a Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) system as standard, allowing for seamless gear changes. In case you’re wondering what the price is, the 2023 Ducati Monster SP will be priced for ownership at RM98,900.00 (Base Selling Price).
“Ducati has a rich history of producing high-performance motorcycles that push the boundaries of what is possible, and the Panigale V4 R and Monster SP are no exception.
They represent the best of Ducati’s engineering and design. We’re introducing them as Apex Predators for good reason – these two are among the most exciting bikes Ducati has ever produced.” said Dennis Michael, COO of Ducati Malaysia.
