Boon Siew Honda has brought the Honda PCX back to Malaysia after a six-year absence, introducing the all-new PCX160 with Honda RoadSync connectivity, traction control and a 30-litre underseat storage compartment.

Launched on 13 October 2026, the new scooter is priced at RM12,998, excluding road tax, insurance and registration. It will be offered in Grey and White, with availability at Honda Impian X outlets and authorised Honda dealers expected from 14 October onwards.

The PCX160 brings Honda RoadSync to the brand’s urban scooter range, following its introduction on the ADV160 earlier this year. Through a 5-inch TFT instrument display, riders can access navigation, calls, music and message notifications while on the move.

According to Boon Siew Honda, the PCX160 and ADV160 are currently the only small-displacement scooters in Malaysia’s market offering Honda RoadSync connectivity.

Designed for everyday practicality

Beyond its connectivity features, the PCX160 is equipped with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and an anti-lock braking system (ABS) to support rider confidence.

Practicality is addressed by a 30-litre U-Box storage compartment, which can accommodate everyday essentials such as a laptop bag, raincoat or spare footwear. The scooter also gets a USB Type-C charging port, Honda Smart Key System, a multifunction switch and full LED lighting.

Sub-tank rear suspension and a comfortable footboard are intended to make daily commuting more comfortable, whether in stop-start city traffic or on longer journeys.

The PCX160 is certified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle (EEV), with claimed fuel consumption of up to 2.3 litres per 100km. Its 8.1-litre fuel tank gives it an estimated maximum range of approximately 350km, based on the stated fuel consumption figure.

PCX150 owners get an upgrade incentive

Boon Siew Honda is also offering existing Honda PCX150 owners an incentive to upgrade to the new model.

Customers who trade in their PCX150 for the PCX160 will receive a one-year extended warranty under the Honda X-Tend Warranty programme. The offer runs until 31 December 2026 and is available through Honda Impian X, selected authorised dealers and iMotorbike inspection centres.

The PCX160 comes with a standard manufacturer’s warranty of two years or 20,000km, whichever comes first.

With its return, the PCX160 gives Malaysian riders another premium-oriented urban scooter option, combining smartphone connectivity, everyday storage and additional rider-assistance technology in a practical commuter package.
