Petronas Lubricants Marketing Malaysia and Blueshark Malaysia are expanding support for electric motorcycle owners in Malaysia through a new collaboration that will see selected Petronas MotoExpert outlets offering aftersales services for Blueshark and SoloEra electric bikes.

The partnership begins with five Petronas MotoExpert locations across the Klang Valley and Selangor, with more outlets expected to join in phases nationwide.

The move is aimed at improving service accessibility for electric two-wheelers (2W-EV), while also giving owners greater confidence when it comes to maintenance and aftersales support — two areas that remain major concerns for many EV motorcycle buyers.

Under the collaboration, both companies will work together across three main areas: expanding authorised service coverage, organising joint marketing and customer engagement activities, and creating new sales and service touchpoints for both individual riders and commercial fleet operators.

The first batch of participating Petronas MotoExpert outlets includes locations in Gombak, Kajang, Subang Jaya, Cyberjaya, and Kota Damansara.

For Blueshark, the partnership helps strengthen its growing EV ecosystem in Malaysia by tapping into Petronas’ established service and retail network. Meanwhile, Petronas continues to widen its involvement in the mobility and energy transition space beyond traditional fuels and lubricants.

According to Petronas Lubricants Marketing Malaysia CEO Mohd Zameer Zahur Hussain, the collaboration is focused on providing greater convenience and dependable support as mobility needs continue to evolve.

Blueshark Malaysia CEO Jeff Chong added that integrating EV motorcycle servicing into trusted Petronas MotoExpert locations will help improve ownership confidence and support wider EV adoption among both consumers and businesses.

The collaboration also supports Malaysia’s broader push towards lower-emission mobility solutions, especially in urban areas where electric motorcycles are increasingly seen as a practical and cost-efficient transportation option for delivery riders and fleet operators.

While the EV car market often gets most of the attention, this partnership highlights how the electric two-wheeler segment is quietly building momentum in Malaysia through better infrastructure, stronger service support, and easier ownership access.
