Lotus Cars Malaysia has officially introduced the updated Lotus Eletre range, marking the next stage for the brand’s first all-electric hyper-SUV. The refreshed line-up features simplified model names, redefined equipment packages, and upgraded performance figures — with prices now starting from RM499,000.
In line with Lotus’ global product strategy, the Eletre is now offered in Eletre 600 and Eletre 900 variants, with the numbers reflecting each model’s respective power output.
Customers can further personalise their SUV through carefully structured equipment packages that emphasise either sport-oriented dynamics or a more luxury-driven specification.
Staying true to Lotus’ heritage of precision engineering and dynamic handling, the Eletre combines the presence of a performance SUV with the agility of a sports car.
- Eletre 600 Series: Equipped with a dual-motor AWD system, the SUV generates 450 kW (603 hp) and draws power from a 112 kWh battery pack, delivering up to 580 km of range (WLTP). Key features include active air suspension with Continuous Damping Control, torque vectoring by brake, and 22 kW onboard charging capability.
- Eletre 900 Series: Raising the benchmark for performance, this variant produces an astounding 675 kW (905 hp) and is paired with a 2-speed transmission for blistering acceleration. The package includes the Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack, active rear spoiler, and adaptive air suspension, ensuring performance that rivals hypercars while retaining everyday usability.
Each Eletre variant is offered with curated interior themes featuring sustainable LotusWear Performance Fabrics, advanced cabin technologies, and KEF premium audio systems. Customers can select between luxury or performance packages depending on preference:
- Standard Equipment: Across all 600 models, features include KEF 15-speaker audio, 29-inch head-up display, four-zone climate control, and LED matrix headlights.
- 600 GT SE (RM569,000): Adds 21-inch alloys, six-piston brakes, intelligent glass roof, hands-free tailgate, configurable ambient lighting, and illuminated side sills.
- 600 Sport SE (RM649,000): Upgrades with the Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack, active rear spoiler, ventilated and massage seats, and soft-close doors.
- 900 Sport (RM769,000): Standard with Quartz interior theme, LotusWear fabric trim, and dynamic performance features.
- 900 Sport Carbon (RM839,000): The flagship model featuring extended exterior and interior carbon fibre packs, massaging and ventilated front seats, and soft-close doors, combining ultimate performance with luxury.
Since its debut in Malaysia in 2024, the Lotus Eletre has quickly established itself as a key driver of Lotus’ expansion in the premium EV market. To date, over 250 units are already on Malaysian roads.
