Bermaz XPENG has officially opened bookings for the locally assembled (CKD) XPENG G6 Ultra Smart Coupe SUV, marking a new chapter for the electric vehicle in Malaysia as production shifts from fully imported units to local assembly.
The CKD XPENG G6 will continue to be offered in three variants — Standard Range, Long Range and AWD Performance — with prices remaining unchanged from the previous CBU models. The Standard Range starts at RM158,888, followed by the Long Range at RM178,888 and the AWD Performance at RM189,888.
The locally assembled G6 is produced at EP Manufacturing Berhad’s (EPMB) facility in Melaka, with customer deliveries expected to begin from August 2026.

Unlike some CKD models that are introduced with lower pricing, Bermaz XPENG has chosen to maintain the G6’s competitive price structure while adding the benefits of local production. According to the company, the move allows Malaysian customers to enjoy locally assembled EV technology without paying more.
Built on XPENG’s SEPA 2.0 platform architecture, the G6 continues to offer the same combination of performance, efficiency and smart technology that has made it one of the more notable EV offerings in Malaysia.
One of its biggest highlights remains the 800V electrical architecture, which enables ultra-fast charging capability. XPENG claims the G6 can charge from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes under suitable charging conditions, helping reduce charging downtime for owners.

All CKD variants also come equipped with XPILOT Assist, featuring driver assistance technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Centering Control and Autonomous Parking Assist. The system is designed to provide smoother responses during everyday driving while improving driver confidence.
The G6 continues to offer a futuristic EV package with features including a large central touchscreen, advanced connectivity functions and intelligent vehicle systems. Depending on variant, the SUV delivers up to 525km of WLTP range, while the Long Range and AWD versions provide stronger performance and extended driving capability.

Commenting on the CKD introduction, Bermaz Auto Berhad Group Chief Executive Officer Dato’ Sri Francis Lee said the move reflects XPENG’s commitment to supporting Malaysia’s EV ecosystem while making intelligent electric mobility more accessible.
Beyond the vehicle itself, Bermaz XPENG is also offering a limited-time ownership package for customers, including a complimentary wallbox charger worth RM5,000 and insurance coverage support of up to RM5,000.

The locally assembled XPENG G6 is now open for bookings at authorised Bermaz XPENG dealerships nationwide, with deliveries scheduled to begin in August 2026.
With unchanged pricing, local assembly and a growing EV ecosystem in Malaysia, the CKD XPENG G6 strengthens its position as one of the most technologically advanced electric SUVs available in the RM150,000 to RM200,000 price range.
