TQ Wuling has reached a key milestone in its Malaysian journey with the official handover of the first batch of locally assembled Bingo EVs to customers, signalling its transition from market entry to real-world ownership.
The delivery ceremony underscores encouraging early demand for the compact electric hatchback, while also marking the formation of TQ Wuling’s first ownership community in the country.
For early adopters, the moment represents more than just receiving a new car—it reflects growing trust in the brand’s vision for accessible electric mobility.
ADAS now standard across both variants
In conjunction with the first deliveries, TQ Wuling confirmed that all locally assembled Bingo EV variants now come equipped with a comprehensive Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) suite as standard. This move ensures that every customer benefits from enhanced safety and driver assistance features from day one.
The system includes Blind Spot Warning, Lane Change Assist, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Rear Collision Warning, Low-Speed Pedestrian Warning, Door Opening Warning, as well as convenience features such as rain-sensing wipers, walk-away auto lock/unlock, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System.

Further strengthening its safety credentials, the Bingo EV is built using high-tensile steel and comes equipped with six airbags—making Malaysia the first market to receive this upgraded airbag configuration for the model.
Assembled locally at Tan Chong Group’s facility in Segambut, the Bingo EV combines compact exterior dimensions with a surprisingly practical interior. It offers up to 1,240 litres of boot space with the rear seats folded, along with 15 storage compartments for added convenience.
Inside, the cabin features a floating-style centre console paired with dual 10.25-inch displays, supporting both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Buyers can choose from youthful colour options such as Milky White, Neon Blue, and Lavender Purple, all paired with a contrasting black roof.
In terms of range, the Bingo PRO delivers up to 333 km (CLTC), while the higher-spec Bingo MAX extends that to 410 km on a single charge.

Powering the Bingo EV is SGM-Wuling’s proprietary MAGIC EV Battery, engineered to meet stringent safety standards. The battery has undergone extensive testing under extreme conditions, including fire exposure, water immersion, and mechanical stress.
It carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and is backed by a global track record of zero fire or explosion incidents across more than three million Wuling EVs sold worldwide—offering added reassurance for buyers transitioning to electric vehicles.
“Bingo EV Fabulous 5” ownership package
Early adopters can still take advantage of the “Bingo EV Fabulous 5” package, designed to make EV ownership more accessible and worry-free. This includes a RM5,000 rebate, bringing prices down to RM62,800 for the PRO and RM67,800 for the MAX.

The package also bundles an 8-year/120,000 km battery warranty, an 8-year/160,000 km motor warranty, low monthly instalments from RM625, a complimentary 7kW home charger with a portable unit, as well as solar tinting and comprehensive insurance with EV-specific benefits.
Growing network and next steps
Currently, TQ Wuling operates six showrooms nationwide, located in Glenmarie, Jalan Raja Laut, OUG, Melati Utama, Butterworth, and Johor Jaya, all of which offer test drives. These are supported by seven aftersales centres under the Tan Chong Group network, with further expansion planned in the near future.

With the first customer deliveries now underway, TQ Wuling is set to continue nationwide handovers while strengthening its retail and service network—laying the groundwork for sustained growth in Malaysia’s evolving EV landscape.
