Porsche is introducing a special Black Edition lineup for the Taycan and Cayenne, distinguished by unique design elements and enhanced equipment. These limited-edition models are adorned with black styling accents inside and out, along with an array of premium features.
The Taycan variant also benefits from an extended electric driving range courtesy of a larger battery. Available in both sedan and Sport Turismo forms, the Taycan Black Edition joins the Cayenne Black Edition, offered as a traditional SUV or as a coupé.

On the Taycan, the Sport Design package, high-gloss black window surrounds, and rear model badging enhance its presence. It also features black mirror housings (paired with select exterior colours) and a rear light bar with an illuminated Porsche logo.
The interior includes black brushed aluminium door sills with illumination, a storage package, and black-themed trim elements.

For the Taycan Black Edition, Porsche includes the Performance Battery Plus as standard. Typically an optional upgrade for the Taycan, Taycan 4, and Taycan 4S, this larger 105 kWh battery increases range and performance.
In the base Taycan Black Edition sedan (delivering up to 435 PS), the WLTP range extends up to 668 km—representing a 76 km (or 12%) improvement over the standard model.

Meanwhile, the Cayenne Black Edition features its own black-themed design cues, including the Sport Design front apron, exterior trim, side mirrors, rear model insignia, and the Porsche logo—all in high-gloss black. Inside, brushed black aluminium accents further elevate the cabin’s premium feel.
Porsche has also bundled a generous list of features as standard for both Black Edition variants. Highlights include Lane Change Assist, a Surround View camera system with Active Parking Assist, 21-inch wheels with full-colour Porsche crest centre caps, and HD Matrix LED headlights (with a dark tint on Cayenne models).

Other premium features include LED welcome lights projecting the Porsche logo, 14-way Comfort Seats with memory function and embossed Porsche crest, black smooth leather upholstery, and a BOSE® Surround Sound System with Dolby Atmos (plus Electric Sport Sound for the Taycan). The Taycan also boasts an exclusive ‘Black Edition’ badge on the centre console.
Despite the name, Black Edition models are not restricted to black paint. Taycan buyers can choose from several complimentary colours under the “Shades” category, including Jet Black Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Ice Grey Metallic. Cayenne customers have similar options with Quartzite Grey Metallic, Vanadium Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Carrara White Metallic.

Additionally, Porsche offers more exotic shades from the “Legends,” “Dreams,” and “Contrasts” collections, or buyers can opt for a completely custom colour through the Paint to Sample programme. Interior options include leather in Slate Grey or two-tone finishes, allowing further personalisation.
An optional extended Black Edition package adds exclusive touches such as ‘Black Edition’ door graphics, matching illuminated sill plates, and a specially branded key set with a presentation case.

Further customisation is available through the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur programme. Buyers can personalise items such as the vehicle key, floor mats, luggage compartment mat, storage lid, documentation folder, and sill plates.
Options that are customisable are marked with a personalisation icon in the Porsche Car Configurator, where customers can preview changes in real-time. Each component is crafted with precision and attention to detail, making every Black Edition vehicle a true reflection of its owner’s style.
