Ducati Malaysia recently unveiled the 2025 Panigale V2 and Multistrada V2 at its flagship showroom ahead of the Naza Automania Vol.3 weekend. The closed-door event was attended by Ducati Owners Club (DOC) Malaysia members, dealers, and selected guests.

According to Naza Automotive Holdings CEO Rizal Jailan, the new models highlight Ducati’s aim to balance performance and accessibility while strengthening its presence in Malaysia.

Both motorcycles are powered by Ducati’s new 890 cc V2 engine, a Euro5+ compliant twin-cylinder that weighs 54.4 kg – 9.4 kg lighter than the previous 955 cc Superquadro. The engine features Intake Variable Timing (IVT), aluminium liners, and valve technology derived from the V4 Granturismo.

Ducati says over 70% of peak torque is available from 3,000 rpm, with more than 80% sustained between 3,500 and 11,000 rpm. Service intervals include valve clearance checks every 45,000 km.

The Panigale V2 is positioned as Ducati’s entry-level supersport. It produces 120 hp and 93.3 Nm, paired with a broad torque curve for road and track use. Key changes include a reshaped fuel tank, improved airflow management, and styling cues taken from the Panigale V4.

A new aluminium monocoque chassis and fully adjustable suspension are standard, while the V2 S version adds Öhlins suspension, Brembo M50 brakes, and a reduced dry weight of 176 kg. Rider aids include a six-axis IMU with Cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Engine Brake Control, and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0. A 5-inch TFT display manages four Riding Modes.

Design changes include a shorter front “beak,” slimmer proportions, and a redesigned seat with adjustable heights, starting at 790 mm on the V2 S. The bike also features Full-LED lighting and improved passenger ergonomics.
