Bermaz Motor has officially unveiled the Mazda CX-60, the first model from Mazda’s Large Product group, marking the arrival of a new flagship in the brand’s SUV lineup.
The mid-size crossover blends premium sophistication, advanced technologies, and Mazda’s hallmark driving pleasure, all while delivering strong environmental and safety performance.

Developed under the design concept of “Noble Toughness,” the Mazda CX-60 represents the evolution of Mazda’s Kodo design philosophy, which emphasises “Soul of Motion.”
The SUV’s exterior reflects strength and elegance, with a bold grille, vertically stacked headlights with L-shaped signature lighting, and a sleek silhouette that conveys movement even at a standstill. The cabin sits slightly rearward, giving the SUV a dynamic stance that accentuates its presence on the road.

Inside, the Mazda CX-60 continues Mazda’s focus on Japanese craftsmanship. A wide instrument panel, flowing lines, and high-quality natural materials create a refined and spacious cabin.
The SUV is equipped with three primary displays: a 12.3-inch multi-information cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with voice recognition, and an Active Driving Display (HUD).

Mazda has also introduced its new Driver Personalisation System, which recognises the driver and automatically adjusts over 250 settings—including the seat, steering wheel, mirrors, and HUD—to match stored personal profiles.
Other features include wireless charging, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360° View Monitor with See-Through View, and a premium 12-speaker BOSE sound system.

Powering the SUV is a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The setup produces 189 hp and 261 Nm of torque, balanced for both performance and efficiency.

The model sits on Mazda’s new Skyactiv Multi-Solution Scalable Architecture, designed with future electrification in mind. Enhancing its dynamics is Kinematic Posture Control (KPC), which improves stability and handling by optimising suspension behaviour, particularly during cornering and braking.

On the safety front, the Mazda CX-60 carries a 5-star Euro NCAP rating and comes equipped with Mazda’s full suite of i-Activsense technologies. These include Adaptive LED Headlamps, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Smart Brake Support, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop & Go, and Cruising & Traffic Support, among others.

Customers can choose from a range of exterior colours, including Soul Red Crystal, Rhodium White, Jet Black, Platinum Quartz, and Zircon Sand. The SUV is fully imported (CBU) from Mazda’s Hofu Plant in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan.

The Mazda CX-60 is now available for booking at all authorised Mazda dealerships nationwide, with prices starting from RM198,900. Each purchase comes with a five-year manufacturer’s warranty and a five-year free maintenance programme (covering parts, labour, and lubricants), valid for up to five years or 100,000 km, whichever comes first.
