Honda Malaysia memorably marked its 25th anniversary by announcing the first two winners of its “Because of You” campaign during a special appreciation event held yesterday. The celebration saw a City Hatchback RS and a WR-V RS handed over to the lucky recipients.
One of the grand prize winners, Mr. Chin from Perak, took home the City Hatchback RS after entering the contest upon purchasing a Civic RS in Platinum White Pearl. “Owning a Civic has always been a dream. Its sleek design and strong performance truly embody the Civic spirit,” he shared.
“Receiving my new Civic was already a big moment, but winning another Honda on top of that was unbelievable. Honestly, I thought the call informing me I’d won was a scam! Now I can’t wait to enjoy both cars and experience what each one brings to the road.”
The WR-V RS winner, Ms. Ou, purchased a CR-V as her family’s new SUV but was unable to attend the prize-giving ceremony. Her husband, Mr. Liew Jeng Siong, flew in from Sarawak to collect the prize on her behalf.
“I wanted an SUV that offered comfort, space and a stylish design,” she said. “When I saw the CR-V, it immediately felt like the right choice for my family. I never imagined it would come with an added surprise. Now we have not just one, but two Honda SUVs that suit our lifestyle perfectly.”
The City Hatchback RS and WR-V RS are part of six grand prizes featured in Honda Malaysia’s 25th Anniversary “Because of You” campaign, held in appreciation of customers who have supported the brand over the past quarter century.
