DEDICATED FAST LANES FOR LORRIES AT ROADBLOCKS
PLUS Malaysia Bhd (PLUS) has been informed by the Traffic Police, that all commercial vehicles (i.e lorries and trucks), transporting essential necessities such as food, perishables, medical goods as well as petroleum fuel will have quicker clearance at the roadblocks via a dedicated fast lane.
The move by the Police during the Movement Control Period (MCO) period is to facilitate and speed up movement of essential items as well as enable Ministry of Health officers, doctors, nurses and enforcement agencies to speedily reach their target destinations throughout the Covid-19 period.
The Police inspection and diversions for routes heading towards the highway are within the Police’s authority and jurisdiction. The public can contact the PDRM Hotline at 03-2266 3356 for latest updates on road diversions and inspection throughout this period.
Critical services such as the PLUSRonda and the toll-free PLUSLine 1800 88 0000 are still available 24-hours a day in the event of emergencies.
PLUS also takes this opportunity to urge the public to adhere to the MCO and to remain at home in order to help flatten the spread of Covid-19 and more crucially to protect one’s health and family’s wellbeing.
