Charge “smart electric trucks” for Formula E

Charge the British based Automotive Technology company and maker of “smart electric trucks” has announced a global sponsorship with Formula E to become the official electric truck partner effective immediately.

The agreement will see Charge supply electric trucks to all Formula E circuits in flagship cities worldwide. The trucks will be used for the drivers’ parades and for logistics of the race cars on and off the track.

Significantly, the first Charge truck to be unveiled at the Paris Formula E prix will be in partnership with DHL. The truck will be on the track parading the drivers before the race in front of the fans along the iconic street circuit. DHL are the official logistics partner for Formula E.

This partnership was announced to coincide with the Paris agreement and World Earth Day – two large-scale efforts to reverse climate change.
