Batik Air is raising the bar for Business Class travel with the reintroduction of its exclusive Private Terminal Transfer service at KLIA Terminal 1, now upgraded through a strategic partnership with Leapmotor Malaysia.
This collaboration features the newly launched Leapmotor C10 electric SUV, the first New Energy Vehicle (NEV) introduced under Stellantis Malaysia’s portfolio.
This move reinforces Batik Air’s commitment to sustainable and seamless travel experiences. The Leapmotor C10, a flagship model under Stellantis and Leapmotor’s global partnership, brings premium comfort, cutting-edge design, and high efficiency to the airline’s terminal transfer service.
Making its Southeast Asian debut in Malaysia, the Leapmotor C10 is a D-segment battery electric SUV with a WLTP-certified range of 424 km. Despite its segment, the C10 is priced competitively at a C-segment entry point, offering advanced features and innovation that cater to environmentally conscious luxury travelers.
The vehicle’s accolades include the French Design Award 2024 and the US MUSE Design Award 2024, underscoring its global recognition for design and innovation. Its spacious cabin features ergonomic 3D seat design and bio-based OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certified materials, combining comfort, sustainability, and long-term durability. Passengers benefit from ample headroom, segment-leading legroom, and a versatile 415-litre boot that expands to 1,410 litres when the rear seats are folded.
Available exclusively to Batik Air Business Class passengers, the transfer service operates between Gate G1 at the Main Terminal Building and Gate C1 at the Satellite Building. The deployment of five Leapmotor C10 units ensures minimal wait times and an enhanced travel experience, particularly while the airport’s aerotrain service remains temporarily suspended. The service operates alongside Malaysia Airports’ existing bus transfers.
