All-New 2022 Porsche Macan is Now in Malaysia
Sime Darby Auto Performance has introduced the all-new third generation Porsche Macan in Malaysia. There will be three variants with prices as mentioned below:
- Porsche Macan – RM433,154
- Porsche Macan S -RM623,593
- Porsche Macan GTS – RM786,232
*All three variants come with 2 years warranty and 2 years free maintenance.
Powering the all-new Macan is a redeveloped 2.0 litre inline four-cylinder turbo engine delivering 265 PS and a maximum torque of 400 Nm, which is an increase of 13 PS and 30 Nm compared to the previous generation.
The more powerful Macan S on the other hand comes with a new 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine that produces 380 PS (26 PS more than before), which propels the vehicle from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds, onto a top speed of up to 259 km/h.
Last but not least, the flagship Macan GTS comes with a more powerful version of the 2.9-litre V6 biturbo engine which delivers 440 PS – an increase of 60 PS than before. Thanks to the more powerful engine, the Macan GTS completes the century sprint in 4.3 seconds when fitted with the Sport Chrono package and reaches a top speed of 272 km/h.
All engines are coupled to a seven-speed Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) all-wheel-drive system.
On the exterior, all variants feature an enhanced design with new 3D structural elements and dynamic side blades for a sporty look. Highlights include redesigned bumpers and new, larger 19-inch wheels which make the Macan look sportier than before.
At the back, a striking diffuser in a particularly technical design increases the car’s sportiness when viewed from the rear. LED headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) and Sport Design exterior mirrors are now standard on all models.
A total of 14 colours are available for the all-new Macan range, including the new colours Papaya Metallic and Gentian Blue Metallic; Python Green exclusively for the Macan GTS.
Inside, the all-new Macan features selected equipment from the 911 Carrera, as well as a futuristic centre console with a high-quality glass look, packed with intuitive touch-sensitive surfaces to elevate day-to-day practicality.
Its new operating concept, which makes use of touch surfaces instead of tactile buttons, brings a clear and futuristic structure to the cockpit. A new, shorter selector lever sits in the centre of the clearly organized control module.
The analogue clock at the top of the dashboard is now also standard equipment. The all-new Macan continues to offer many online functions and services as standard. These can be controlled via the 10.9-inch full HD touch display of the Porsche Communication Management or by means of voice commands.
The all-new Macan also inherits the new multifunction and GT Sport steering wheels from the 911.
The Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) now also comes as standard available in the Premium Package, actively and continuously regulating the damping force for each individual wheel and adapted specifically for this model.
Last but not least, the all-new Macan and Macan S come equipped with a Premium Package as standard, with additional comfort and luxury features such as 14-way electric comfort seats with memory package, Power Steering Plus, Park Assist including reversing camera and surround view, automatic dimming interior and exterior mirrors, and Bose Surround Sound System to increase overall driving pleasure.
