MotoGP-inspired styling, a two-way quickshifter and upgraded front brake pads headline the special edition, unveiled by Marco Bezzecchi during the Sepang MotoGP weekend.
Aprilia has introduced the RS 457 GP Replica in Malaysia, bringing a special edition of its middleweight sportbike inspired by the brand’s MotoGP racing machine.
Unveiled by Didi Group, Aprilia’s sole importer and distributor in Malaysia, during the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2026 last weekend, the preview was officiated by Aprilia Racing rider Marco Bezzecchi.
The Aprilia RS 457 GP Replica is priced at RM35,900 and will be available through authorised dealerships nationwide.
MotoGP-Inspired Styling and Equipment
The RS 457 GP Replica adopts a black livery with a combination of gloss and matte finishes, complemented by racing-inspired graphics. The aluminium frame, swingarm and steering plate also receive dark finishes for a more aggressive appearance.
Beyond the styling changes, the special edition gets an Aprilia Quickshifter as standard, supporting clutchless upshifts and downshifts. It also features upgraded front brake pads for improved braking performance, alongside a single-seat rear cowl that enhances its race-bike character.
457cc Parallel-Twin Engine
Power comes from the familiar 457cc liquid-cooled, DOHC parallel-twin engine, producing 47.6hp at 9,400rpm and 43.5Nm of torque at 6,700rpm.
The engine is paired with a six-speed transmission and slipper clutch. The motorcycle also features Ride-by-Wire throttle control, three riding modes and traction control.
The GP Replica retains the standard RS 457’s aluminium dual-beam frame, 41mm USD front fork and rear monoshock. Braking is handled by a 320mm front disc with a four-piston ByBre caliper and a 220mm rear disc.
Other equipment includes dual-channel ABS, a 5-inch colour TFT display and LED lighting.
With its MotoGP-inspired livery and additional performance equipment, the Aprilia RS 457 GP Replica offers a more race-focused take on the standard sportbike.
Priced at RM35,900, it will be available through Aprilia authorised dealerships across Malaysia.
