MINI Malaysia has officially introduced the all-new MINI Aceman, an all-electric compact crossover that occupies a unique position between the MINI Cooper and MINI Countryman.
Priced from RM213,888 on-the-road without insurance, the Aceman represents an entirely new model for the MINI lineup, combining the agility and character of a traditional MINI hatchback with the practicality and elevated driving position of a crossover.
Customers can also opt for the MINI Extended Warranty and Service Package, bringing the price to RM221,288.
The Aceman is the first model of its kind in MINI’s portfolio, bridging the gap between the compact Cooper and the larger Countryman.
Measuring up as a compact five-door crossover, the Aceman has been designed for urban lifestyles while retaining the fun-to-drive characteristics that have defined MINI vehicles for decades. It combines a higher seating position, increased practicality and crossover-inspired styling without losing the brand’s signature driving dynamics.
The exterior adopts MINI’s latest “Charismatic Simplicity” design language, featuring clean surfaces, a distinctive octagonal grille, robust wheel arches and expressive LED lighting signatures.
Further enhancing its crossover appeal are roof rails, front and rear skid plate elements, and 19-inch Hexagram alloy wheels.
Inside, the Aceman showcases MINI’s latest digital-first interior design philosophy.
Dominating the dashboard is a large 9.4-inch circular OLED touchscreen, which serves as the command centre for vehicle information, navigation, entertainment and connectivity functions.
The display runs MINI Operating System 9 and is complemented by the brand’s signature toggle switches, providing quick access to key vehicle controls.
MINI has also incorporated sustainable materials throughout the cabin, including recycled textiles, a 3D-knitted dashboard surface and vegan leather upholstery.
A key highlight is the inclusion of up to seven MINI Experience Modes, allowing drivers to customise the cabin atmosphere through unique lighting effects, graphics and soundscapes.
Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor producing 218 hp (160 kW) and 330 Nm of torque.
This enables the MINI Aceman to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds, delivering the lively performance expected from a MINI.
Energy is supplied by a 54.2-kWh battery pack, providing a WLTP-rated driving range of up to 406 km on a full charge.
Charging capabilities include up to 95 kW DC fast charging, allowing the battery to be replenished from 10% to 80% in approximately 31 minutes. AC charging of up to 11 kW is also supported for home and public charging stations.
Battery preconditioning technology is included to optimise charging efficiency, while charging schedules can be managed remotely through the MINI App.
The MINI Aceman comes equipped with an extensive suite of driver assistance systems and connected services.
Safety and convenience features include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, collision warning systems, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition and parking assistance functions.
Drivers also benefit from a 360-degree camera system, automated parking functions and reverse assistant technology, which can retrace previously driven paths when manoeuvring in tight spaces.
On the connectivity front, the Aceman supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, intelligent voice control, cloud-based navigation with charging route planning and remote vehicle functions through the MINI App.
Digital Key functionality allows owners to lock, unlock and start the vehicle using a compatible smartphone.
The Aceman is covered by MINI Malaysia’s extensive ownership programme, which includes roadside assistance, connected services and proactive vehicle monitoring.
Battery-electric models also benefit from an eight-year high-voltage battery warranty, while the MINI Service & Repair Inclusive package includes six years of service coverage with unlimited mileage.
Owners additionally receive access to MINI Roadside Assistance, offering 24-hour support including towing services, replacement vehicles and accommodation assistance in the event of emergencies.
