Kia Sales Malaysia has officially appointed Cycle & Carriage (C&C) as its latest authorised dealer group, marking a significant step in the brand’s expansion strategy and efforts to strengthen its presence in the Malaysian market.

The partnership brings together two major names in the automotive industry, with Kia aiming to further improve its retail footprint, customer reach, and aftersales experience nationwide.

According to Kia Sales Malaysia, the appointment of Cycle & Carriage reflects the company’s long-term commitment towards building a stronger dealership network while elevating ownership experiences in line with Kia’s latest global standards.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, Kia Sales Malaysia CEO Hyung Ho Kim said the collaboration will help position the brand more competitively in Malaysia’s rapidly evolving automotive landscape.

He noted that Cycle & Carriage’s long-standing automotive experience and established reputation make the company a strategic partner for Kia’s next phase of growth in the country.

Meanwhile, Cycle & Carriage Malaysia CEO Adrian Short described Kia as an important addition to the company’s automotive portfolio.

He added that Cycle & Carriage plans to leverage its expertise in sales, aftersales, and customer service to help expand Kia’s market reach while delivering a stronger ownership journey for customers in Malaysia.

The new partnership is expected to give Kia customers greater access to sales and service touchpoints, while also strengthening aftersales support as the Korean brand continues expanding its product lineup locally.

Kia has been actively rebuilding momentum in Malaysia in recent years, with newer-generation models such as the Kia Sportage, Carnival, Sorento, and EV6 helping to raise the brand’s visibility in the increasingly competitive local automotive market.

The appointment of Cycle & Carriage could further support Kia’s ambitions as competition intensifies across both the ICE and EV segments in Malaysia.
