Omoda Jaecoo has surpassed one million vehicles sold globally, just three years after its debut—an impressive milestone announced at Auto China 2026.

Backed by Chery, the brand has expanded into more than 64 markets, quickly evolving from a new entrant into one of the fastest-growing global automotive players. Its progress in Europe has been particularly notable, with presence in 16 markets and over 220,000 units sold within two years. In the United Kingdom, it secured over 2% market share within nine months and entered the top 10 within 17 months.

Closer to home, Omoda Jaecoo Malaysia recorded over 17,800 units sold in 2025, a 153% year-on-year increase, with total vehicles on Malaysian roads expected to exceed 25,000 units.

A key driver behind this growth is the brand’s Super Hybrid System (SHS), a next-generation electrified powertrain designed for both HEV and PHEV applications. Developed for global adaptability, it aims to balance performance, efficiency, and range across diverse markets.

This technology was recently put to the test in the “9 Countries Super Hybrid Marathon”, a 625 km endurance drive across China involving models such as the Omoda 5 HEV, Jaecoo J7 HEV, and Jaecoo J5 HEV. The route covered highways, mountainous terrain, and lakeside roads, allowing participants to evaluate performance, ride comfort, and efficiency in real-world conditions.

Beyond products, the brand continues to strengthen its global ecosystem through close collaboration with partners and dealers. In Spain, a 2025 study ranked Omoda Jaecoo highest in dealer recognition, achieving a satisfaction score of 9.9 out of 10, alongside competitive dealer margins and extensive service coverage.

At the same time, Omoda Jaecoo is expanding its focus beyond conventional automotive development. Its humanoid robot “Mornine”, developed with the AiMOGA team, has already been deployed in over 30 countries—including Malaysia—to enhance customer interaction in retail and exhibition environments.

Looking ahead, the brand will also debut its Valet Parking Driver (VPD) system at Auto China 2026, enabling fully autonomous parking functions such as self-parking, space searching, and remote vehicle summoning.
