SPPF Malaysia recently hosted media, partners and industry stakeholders at an exclusive showcase held at AutoDetailer Studio, marking the brand’s formal introduction of a new chapter in automotive surface protection.
Developed in Japan, SPPF presented its next-generation spray-on paint protection system — a breakthrough that establishes an entirely new category defined by exceptional durability, optical clarity and craftsmanship.
At the core of SPPF’s innovation is its proprietary Paintwork Fusion Bonding technology. Unlike conventional adhesive-based films, SPPF is applied as a sprayed-on, seamless protective layer that bonds directly to a vehicle’s paintwork.
This approach allows for customisable thickness, outstanding visual transparency and perfect conformity to every contour, redefining expectations of what modern paint protection can deliver.

A key highlight was SPPF’s Renewable Surface Engineering concept, where the system’s upper layers are designed to be restored over time rather than replaced. Through professional polishing or surface refinement, common wear such as swirl marks, light scratches, water stains, oxidation and minor surface defects can be removed, reviving depth and clarity without compromising the core protective layer. Once renewed, ceramic coating solutions such as HydroGlide can be reapplied to restore all-weather protection and effortless maintenance.
Complementing this is SPPF’s Infinite Layer Technology, a forward-thinking design philosophy that allows additional protective layers to be applied over an existing SPPF system. This enables owners to enhance protection or visual depth as the vehicle evolves, extending longevity through intelligent reinforcement rather than full replacement. In this ecosystem, protection becomes progressive, not finite.
SPPF also underscored its motorsports-tested pedigree. Every SPPF application is engineered to withstand extreme abrasion, intense heat cycles and harsh weather conditions that exceed the demands of daily driving. The result is a resilient, high-gloss finish that maintains its integrity long after traditional protection films begin to degrade.

Another standout element of the showcase was SPPF’s advanced approach to colour customisation. Through its Colour Engineering philosophy, SPPF integrates original automotive manufacturer paint systems directly within its multi-layer protective structure. Beyond simply protecting factory paint, authentic paint formulations can be introduced between protective layers to create bespoke finishes while enhancing durability.
This allows owners to incorporate genuine OEM paint systems — such as Porsche’s BASF or Ferrari’s PPG formulations — into an SPPF build, opening up a new spectrum of custom finishes.

From heritage racing colours to highly specific manufacturer shades, colour becomes an integral part of the protection itself, engineered for long-term refinement and authenticity. For collectors and enthusiasts, this approach preserves the integrity of original paint systems while offering unprecedented freedom in finish and depth.
Extending beyond the physical surface, SPPF also introduced the upcoming SPPF.co App, which assigns each treated vehicle a secure digital identity. Through a simple smartphone interaction, owners can verify the authenticity of their SPPF system and access a detailed, tamper-proof record of every layer, renewal and refinement applied over time. Scheduled to launch in the second half of 2026, the app transforms paint protection into a verifiable asset, reinforcing transparency, confidence and long-term value.
