LEPAS to Open 20 Outlets Ahead of Malaysian Launch This Year

LEPAS, another global brand under the Chery Group, has outlined its roadmap for entering the Malaysian market, signalling its readiness for an official debut in the first half of 2026 through a rapidly expanding nationwide retail and aftersales network.

As part of this rollout, the brand will establish 20 authorised sales and service outlets across major markets in Peninsular and East Malaysia ahead of its launch, with plans to grow the network to 30 locations by the end of 2026. These outlets are being positioned to ensure broad customer access from day one, while laying the groundwork for long-term ownership support.

The Malaysian lineup will comprise the L4, L6 and L8 SUVs, all underpinned by Chery Group’s latest global New Energy Vehicle (NEV) architecture. Designed for flexibility, the platform supports multiple vehicle segments and powertrain configurations, including internal combustion, hybrid and fully electric solutions. This technical foundation is reinforced by Chery Group’s extensive R&D resources, advanced engineering capabilities and established global supply chain.

At a brand level, LEPAS blends Leopard Aesthetics, Exquisite Space and Elegant Driving into a unified design and product philosophy. The approach positions elegance as a universal expression, aligning with the brand’s “Drive Your Elegance” ethos.

Globally, LEPAS continues to gain traction across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Southeast Asia, with its expanding footprint reflecting growing acceptance of the brand’s vision for elegant and innovative mobility. Malaysia is set to be among the first markets to experience this proposition, shaped by proven engineering and a customer-centric philosophy.

In addition to its dealership network, LEPAS will introduce a dedicated Lifestyle Experience Center in the Klang Valley. This immersive facility will showcase the brand’s “Preferred Brand for Elegant Mobility Life” positioning through curated lifestyle spaces, while offering deeper insights into LEPAS Elegant Technology.

Network highlights include:

  • An initial rollout of 20 authorised dealerships across key regions such as Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, Penang, Sarawak and Sabah
  • Expansion to 30 strategic touchpoints nationwide by December 2026
  • Sales and aftersales teams trained and certified under LEPAS Malaysia’s proprietary programs
  • A comprehensive parts logistics and warranty support structure to maintain consistent service standards nationwide
