Just one month after launching the QV-E, Perodua has officially launched its latest SUV – the Traz which will be available in two variants with prices as mentioned below:
- Perodua Traz X – RM76,100
- Perodua Traz H – RM82,000
Codenamed D66B, the Traz is essentially a rebadged Toyota Yaris Cross which will sit between the Ativa and also the Aruz in Perodua’s product lineup.
Both variants will be powered by the same 2NR-VE 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 105hp and 138Nm of torque, which will be sent exclusively to the front wheels via a D-CVT.
Here to compete with models like the Proton X50 and the Chery Tiggo Cross, the Traz measures 4,310mm in length, 1,770mm in width, and 1,655mm in height while the wheelbase is rated at 2,620mm.
Underpinned by the DNGA platform, the Traz also offers 471-litres of boot space with the rear seats up. It is also worth mentioning here that it comes with a turning radius of 5.2 metres.
While the fuel tank capacity is rated at 42-litres, the claimed fuel consumption stands at 21.3 km/l. Perodua claims that the Traz can go from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Bharu with less than RM45 worth of petrol.

Last but not least, the Perodua Traz will be available in four colour options for the X variant (Cranberry Red, Ivory White, Glittering Silver, and Black), and two two-tone options for the H (Glittering Silver with Black roof and Electric Blue with a black roof).
