Indian Motorcycle has marked a new chapter in Malaysia with the official launch of the 2025 Indian Scout lineup. This move combines modern engineering with over a century of American motorcycling heritage.
The unveiling took place at Spirit Lake Motor’s facility in Petaling Jaya, following the brand’s strong presence at the Malaysia Autoshow 2025 earlier this year.

For 2025, Indian Motorcycle has rolled out five Scout variants in Malaysia, each designed for a different style of rider. The new SpeedPlus 1250 V-Twin engine is at the heart of every model, producing 105 hp and 108 Nm of torque, while the flagship 101 Scout receives an uprated tune with 111 hp and over 111 Nm.
The prices of the five variants are:
- Scout Bobber – From RM103,900
- Sport Scout – From RM106,800
- Scout Classic – From RM128,800
- Super Scout – From RM134,500
- 101 Scout – From RM139,600

The SpeedPlus engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox and belt final drive for smooth power delivery. Riders can further enhance their motorcycles with two key upgrade packs:
- Tech Package – 4-inch TFT display with touchscreen, keyless ignition, and USB charging.
- Limited Package – Adds cruise control, three ride modes (Sport, Standard, Tour), traction control, and additional rider aids.
For those who want a fully connected experience, Ride Command offers smartphone integration, navigation, vehicle health monitoring, and Bluetooth connectivity.

Indian Motorcycle is now represented locally by Spirit Lake Motor Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of AFY Mobility Industries (AMI). This change signals a refreshed ownership experience, with Spirit Lake Motor offering sales, service, spare parts, warranty coverage, and official merchandise under one roof.

While operating out of AMI’s PJ222 showroom for now, the brand is preparing to launch a dedicated 3S lifestyle hub later in 2025. The company’s name itself pays homage to Indian Motorcycle’s iconic factory in Spirit Lake, Iowa—underlining the authenticity of the brand’s legacy as it expands in Malaysia.

With prices starting from RM103,900, the 2025 Indian Scout lineup offers Malaysian riders a broad spectrum of choices—from the stripped-down Bobber to the premium 101 Scout. Backed by Spirit Lake Motor’s full-service ecosystem, enthusiasts can now own an authentic piece of American motorcycling heritage, reimagined for the modern era.
